Who will you be rooting for on Saturday: Anderson or Bakole?

I'm not rooting for anyone in particular in this fight, just hope we have a good one!

Anderson is a talentless American hype job.

 

Well that turned out exactly as I expected it to

 

I wouldn't say he's talentless, he's just got a really flawed style. If he learned to move his head, use better lateral movement and learned too counter he'd be a decent fighter. But he's like so many fast handed fighters, leads but doesn't know how to counter so can't actually box well on the back foot and his offense is his defence. Too many see hand speed as skills, he's fast true but skills wise he sucks.

I've noticed a lot of hyped American fighters have been like this, good athletes but their skills are lacking but people who don't understand boxing that well fall for the flashy hand speed and think they've got an RJJ or Mayweather when in reality it's more likely a Broner, Frank Martin, Chris Colbert etc.

Anderson's problem isn't a lack of physical gifts or talent, it's a lack of actual boxing skills and maybe the right mindset to develop those skills as he really hasn't developed at all as a pro.
