Don't **** with me clown, I'm not in the mood. I had it the same as @IntentionalButt we're the two best scorers on here, and I trust our judgment, your bitchy opinion is irrelevant to me.
Agree completely- it was a close fight but can’t help thinking when a trillionaire tells the world buds future opponents there’s only going to be one result.
Crawford 8-4. It's hilarious to hear people arguing Madrimov winning or it being a draw. I'm here for the comedy. Madrimov knew he lost. You can see it in his body language before they announced the winner.
His first fight at a new weight, fighting a very good opponent with a tricky style, no surprise Crawford was in tough. He showed his mettle as did Madrimov. Those who knew Mardimov, knew it wouldn't be an easy fight for Crawford.
As soon as the Crawford v Madrimov fight was announced threads appeared on here predicting a tough fight and possible upset in Madrimovs favour, those early predictions where not wrong and the fight went exactly as most people had predicted in these early threads as mentioned.I had Crawford edging it in a fight that was rightly predicted as a tough hard fight for him .
Crawford had a tough fight against a little over inexperienced journeyman his size. The fight proves that Crawford has been an overhyped pfp.
I had Crawford 115-113. Bud had to dig down and pull it out in the champion rounds and I believe 154 is his ceiling.
I scored it a draw, 114:114, tho watched it first thing on delayed feed and was groggy so might have missed some subtleties in what was a very high-level chess match for much of the fight. I felt the fight kind of had 3 clear parts - a very cagey beginning 1-4 where both fighters were restting a lot, but Crawford was a bit more active and was nullifying Madromivs jab, and having a small amount of success to the body. 3-1 Crawford. Then Madrimov I felt began to be a bit busier and started to catch Bud with the looping right, with v good rounds 5 & 9. I scored rounds 5 thru 8 3-1 to Madrimov, having it even going into the last 4 rounds. Then the last 4 rounds I felt Madrimov was a bit too inactive in 11 and 12, which I scored for Bud, giving Madrimov 9 (clear) and 10. The sweet double uppercut that Crawford scored in round 11 might have turned the tide a bit, and though Madrimov scored a big right in round 12, Crawford was the busier and looked to want to put it on Madrimov, which I think might have stolen it for him - on my card Bud needed to win 11 and 12 to get the draw, which he did. Madrimov : 2, 5,7, 8,9, 10 Crawford : 1,3,4,6,11,12 Great technical fight from 2 high level operators fight, and I'd like to see them run it back to see what adjustments either fighter might make
That's exactly my thought. The last two rounds edged it for Crawford. Plus, Madrimov has that Eastern European anti-X factor. No way is he getting a close decision against Crawford or any other top American or Mexican fighter. He would have to win very convincingly and he didn't quite pull it off. He gave a good account of himself though and proved he is no punk.
