Chaney's only rated by the WBA for knocking out Trevor Bryan, who should never have been anywhere near any orgs top 20 nevermind top 10...

It's really not impressing me, I have to be honest.

Again, you have a right to that opinion--that is why the thread was made. But there is nothing "ridiculous" about ranking a guy coming off a win, ranked #3 by an organization, who was recently mentioned as being pushed for an eliminator.

    And again, who above him?

Hrgovic? Coming off a brutal defeat that will see him taking a lot of time off to heal?

Joyce, who has lost to Chisora and three of his last four?

Miller...for beating fat Andy and not getting the nod?

Wallin...for beating...who was it again he last beat?

Hunter is an imminently defensible position. Name your top ten and we'll talk. You named six, so...

I think you have a solid top 3 or 4 and then the rest up to to 20 it's hard to put in order there's loads of fighters in this division who can beat each other.

    Usyk
    AJ
    Fury
    Bakole
    Dubois
    Parker
    Zhang
    Kabayel
    Hrgovic
    Miller

As I already stated, I don't think there's strong arguments for rating anyone 7-10, it's not a strong division right now... Still decent to watch at times but that's about it.

I disagree, his career achievements are limited and his recent ones even less so.

There is when that guy ranked #3 has no business being there and was making that org a laughing stock.

    Again...

    1. If you are not going to name a top ten, you aren't even in the argument.

    2. The other guys mentioned in other top tens on this thread are:

Hrgovic- coming off a catastrophic loss.
Miller- loss and a draw he probably deserved to win against a guy who never fights anymore
Wallin- a win against an unranked guy after KO loss.

    Hunter is defensible.

I'm actually ok with Parker at 2 here ... just referencing it by other sports.

In the current Australian AFL season Sydney have been top of the ladder most of the season but in recent weeks other teams are hitting form and are clearly better teams right now. Parker seems to be in peak form at the moment. Amazing to think Fury/Vlad is almost 10 years back now ... 2015 if I remember correctly. Fury did do better than I expected against Usyk tho ...

    1. ) Usyk
    2. ) Joshua
    3. ) Fury

Top 3 is clear to me. After this I think it can be very debatable

    4. ) Parker
    5. ) Dubois
    6. ) Kabayel
    7. ) Hrgovic
    8. ) Zhang
    9. ) Whyte
    10.) Chisora

I try to base ratings on results rather than potential
There are some in this top 10 that I think would likely be beaten by other contenders outside this top 10 but they imo may not have as good a win/wins or not been as active

Fury is being underrated by many on here. He beats everyone not named Usyk. He has a good chance in the rematch as well.

i agree some are underrating him. But when you struggle with an MMA fighter, its not shocking that some will pick Joshua or even Zhang over him.

    1) Usyk - wins over Fury and Joshua. Undefeated.
    2) Fury - lost a close decision to Usyk, recent champion, wins over highly rated Whyte & Wilder in last 3 years.
    3) Joshua - lost a close decision to Usyk, recent champion, good resume but only recent rated win is Wallin, not as good as Fury’s wins.
    4) Parker - beat Zhang and Wilder. Loss to Joyce still recent enough to be relevant, and lost to Joshua and Whyte without avenging.
    5) Kabayel - beat Makhmudov and Sanchez. Undefeated.
    6) Dubois - beat Hrgovic in his only rated win. Loss to Joyce enough to keep him below undefeated Kabayel. Also lost against Usyk.
    7) Zhang - beat Wilder and Joyce. Close loss to Hrgovic and loss to Parker enough to keep him below Dubois.
    8) Hrgovic - beat Zhang, lost to Dubois. Below Zhang due to close nature of their fight and recent form favouring Zhang.
    9) Bakole - Beat Anderson, otherwise unproven and loss to Hunter unavenged.
    10) Chisora - Beat Pulev and Joyce. Losses to Fury, Usyk and Parker all look fine now.

Could argue Whyte for #10, but drug tests enough to devalue his rating and Chisora is more active since they fought nearly 6 years ago.

Hunter’s inactivity and low level of opposition since Bakole and Povetkin keeps him out for now, but a decent win could return him to the top 10.

Ruiz did himself no favours drawing with Miller, especially as the consensus is that Miller deserved the win. Neither good enough recently to be top 10.
