I feel Bakole has missed a trick. He should have aligned himself to one of the football teams in Scotland and generated the same artificial following that boxers like Warrington and Heaney have.

Anyway, just excuses from Hearn. I think AJ would beat Bakole but obviously Bakole would have the power to hurt him.

He's right he doesn't have the profile yet to be leaping past other fighters to get to guys like Usyk, Fury and Joshua. Hearn said Kabayel or Zhang might be options and I don't know about anyone else, but I'd like to see those fights.

Or Ajagba on a Saudi card as an inter-Africa match.

This is Hearn's spin for protecting Joshua from live tests.

If Andy Ruiz can reduce Joshua to rubble, Bakole has the ability to obliterate him into retirement.

A great winnable fight for both men at the end of the year should Joshua come through Dubois.

I'd really like to see Bakole against Kabayel - they're both looking good but neither has beaten a rock solid gatekeeper yet (Agit beat a poor version of Chisora and Bakole beat 42 year old Takam), both have sorted out a hypejob or two and that's getting them both quite a bit of hype.

On top of that, I think it'd be a good fight.

Ajagba's a 30 year old prospect with nothing special on his resume - I would think Bakole will want to ride the hype by making the best fight possible at this stage, but we'll see!

So Dubois had the profile to be fighting Usyk? Hearn is just chatting crap as usual.

Ajagba vs Bakole would be a total mismatch. Bakole would make easier work of Ajagba than he did Anderson.

I'd like to see following Usyk vs Fury card:

    Parker vs Kabayel
    Bakole vs Zhang

Yeh, you're probably right on that front.

I'd think Kossobutskiy needs a warm up tho. Real pity how his last fight played out.

That would a great fight. Wouldn't mind the stylistic match up of Bakole V Zhang too.

So how did Franklin and Helenius recently leap past others to face Joshua? Is Otto Wallin a big name?

Bakole has beaten Yoka and Anderson. Two of the biggest prospect in the division. Scratch that. He beat the **** outta them. Doesn't have the profile, my ass. Stop with the BS, Eddie. What more can you want?

Wallin at least has more casual recognition because of the Fury fight which he could easily have won on cuts (and yes he was outclassed and cuts is a cheap way to win a fight you're not especially competitive in, but it's nonetheless true).
Levels wise, though, he's a gatekeeper just like Bakole.

I'd argue Bakole is in the awkward position of being both more dangerous than Franklin and Helenius and no more recognisable or marketable... Having beaten hypejob Anderson might help a bit, but not hugely with a UK audience perhaps?
