Several of the fights had some Canelo vs GGG 118/110 vibes tonight on this PPV—Even the Ruise DRAW was absurd

That is my BIG STICKING POINT TOO!!!
Also when is the last time you witnessed Bud being forced to reset over and over in any round much less round after round after round?
This was a chess match well played by both and I just can’t say either man dominated the fight.
I would love to see this one Again

How many fights has Canelo had at 175? How many for David B?
    There’s your sign

It was a good fight. Like you said, it was a chess match.

I don't think Crawford is going to give the guy a rematch.

The risk reward is not there for Crawford.

Oh dear, Frank gets it wrong again

Not only does he completely misconstrue what Serge has said despite the fact Serge explained his position and what his issue is explicitly, but then he gets female dog slapped across cyberspace by a Tommy Hearns-esque straight right hand from hell by @CST80 when he provides evidence of Serge calling out the corruption (which Frank cited for his big gotcha moment) when it occurs on the hallowed soil of his own country, thus confirming Serge's reputation for being a man of the highest moral character, integrity and consistency.

Feel the burn, Franky boy. I done gone got you again :risas3:

For the umpteenth time. Corruption is prevalent and robberies occur in every boxing nation and yes that includes plenty of it over here in the UK too, and you only have to check the Brit forum when it does so to see how vigourously it gets called out and many of our cousins from across the pond likewise call it out when it occurs on their shores too

But the huge difference is we do not stack the deck with a home ref and three home judges for world title fights between a home fighter and a foreigner and neither does any other country apart from the US whereas it is almost the norm over there for not only non-title fights but for world title ones and we even see it for undisputed ones too, as with Josh Taylor vs JCR, and Jermallo vs Castano

We don't even do that for European title fights and oftentimes we even have foreign judges for fights between a Brit and a foreigner over here which aren't even title fights.

And it's even worse because there is no pressure exerted on US fighters to travel overseas to prove their legitimacy and on the rare occasions their top boys do travel they won't ever be fighting on a deck stacked against them where their opponents have a home ref and three home judges for world title fights whereas the reverse is so commonplace in the US it's almost the norm

Also, on the rare occasions when the top American boys do they and/or some of their fans will kick up a stink about the imperativeness of officials needing to be from neutral countries because god forbid they should have to play by the same set of rules the rest of us play by

Even though a man of low breeding and moral character like yourself is American, Serge generally likes his American cousins as much as he does his fellow Brits and he fully concedes that we have plenty of corruption and robberies occurring over here in the UK too.

I just caught up on the fight i had it for Crawford clearly in a very competitive fight.

    Terence Crawford vs Israil Madrimov

    1 Even
    2 Crawford
    3 Madrimov
    4 Crawford
    5 Madrimov
    6 Crawford
    7 Crawford
    8 Madrimov
    9 Madrimov
    10 Crawford
    11 Crawford
    12 Crawford

    116-113 Crawford

The fight was up for grabs after 9 rounds but Crawford won the last 3 rounds for me the last 2 especially were very decisive IMO to earn Crawford the nod.

Intriguing fight but quite dull aswell Madrimov was coming forward but didn't throw enough punches, i felt like there was too most wasted movement and feints without enough punching to be quite frank.

Crawford himself wasn't a whirling dervish either but i felt he stole some rounds with his jab and eye catching body punches, and as i alluded to earlier the last 3 rounds were the key and that's what won Crawford the fight.

Not alot in it a very nip and tuck kind of fight but the later rounds won it for Crawford.

Madrimov has fought his entire career apart from four fights in the U.S. … and has fought only twice in Kazakhstan.

He lives and trains in Indio, California.

In all of his U.S. fights, he’s had U.S. judges and referees (one exception being a Puerto Rican ref in one bout … and PR is a U.S. territory). When he fought in the UK and Saudi Arabia, his officials were picked by his own promoter, Eddie Hearn. And when he fought in Kazakhstan twice, he of course had three local judges and a local ref in his corner.

If he wants to play the ‘poor foreigner on foreign soil’ card, he needs to move back to Kazakhstan. If U.S. judges and refs were good for all his previous fights on U.S. soil, they’re good enough for this one.

So silly. He can’t have it both ways.

Definitely surprised he didn't go for it a bit more, but having this be the kind of fight you have when you have a "boring" win this one look good the next B's when Mayweather or Shakur do it. Quite different.

I mean is he actually anyone's "hero" on here? There's some hyperbolic posts, but most of them are tongue in cheek.... I think most people just appreciate that he's putting together solid boxing events.

Yep agreed I think the guy is a weirdo dork but I don't give AF as long as he puts on good fights.

Yep I actually thought that Bivol looked uncomfortable when Turki was hugging and kissing his sons after his last fight.
