I don't think Mayweather would of had an easier time with any of Crawford's opponents above 140 pounds. Mayweather didn't have power above 135 pounds. I mean I'm not saying he loses but it would be a bunch of UD's and a few would without question be competitive (like Madimov as an example).

Floyd never fought an actual JMW. DLH came from 135, Cotto came from 140, and Canelo came from 147 and was barely an adult...at a catchweight.

Madrimov wouldve been Floyds first 154lb opponent. And Madrimov fought Crawford differently than he did in his prior fights. Madrimov was far more conservative. He wouldnt have to be as conservative against Floyd who couldnt hurt Maidana in 24 rounds, Manny, Ghost Guerrero (former 135lber), Berto, hell Floyd could barely hurt McGregor who lost from exhaustion.

Madrimov wouldnt have given Floyd the respect Bud got. And thats why Floyd wouldnt have fought Madrimov...the same way he didnt fight Sergio or Winky.

The Floyd from Maidana 1 and 2 does NOT fight Madrimov and, if he does, he loses.

Floyd was almost stopped by 38 year old Mosley, saved by the bell against freaking Maidana, rocked against Cotto, rocked against Manny, rocked against Judah, rocked against Corley, rocked against Augustus, and on and on.

Crawford is better than all of those fighters at the time Floyd fought them. Crawford wouldve stopped Floyd in my opinion.

And 1 dimesional Spence wouldve beaten Floyd also.

Yes, Terence Crawford is the GOAT. He’s the real TBE.

I dont know if my Top 3 of SRR, SRL, and Ali could ever be topped. Even if Bud beat Canelo then beat winner of Bivol/Beterbiev.

Crawford wouldve fit in w the Fab 4 though. Where among them I don't know but he wouldve fit in there. Floyd and Manny both wouldve as well, too.

    Is this Stevie Bruno??

(I mostly agree on your Mayweather analysis, incidentally).

I disagree. Stylistically, only Porter and Spence would’ve given Floyd a tough fight since he didn’t had the punching power and had brittle hands to handle bigger swarmer type of boxers. Whereas, Mosley, Cotto, Oscar, Maidana, Canelo would’ve given Crawford more than he can handle.

None of those guys barring De La Hoya would give Crawford any issues.

Mosley was like 40 when he fought Mayweather, once his gas tank emptied it would be a similar result to the Mayweather fight. I guess he could knockout Bud early but that is like maybe 10%. Cotto gets knocked out IMO. Maidana gets thoroughly outboxed. Canelo at 152 pounds would be a similar result to the Mayweather fight. He might even get stopped by Crawford. Canelo was not a finished product when he fought Mayweather, it's not some great win for Money. De La Hoya was a much better victory.

It is recency bias at its finest. People are looking at Crawfords last performance vs Madrimov and voting for Mayweather because of it.

Floyd had the power of a flea lol he couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper sack Maidana had the blueprint o beat him he roughed him up made him try to fight, but he couldn't keep him off. Kenny Bayless won the rematch for Floyd by stopping Maidana from fighting judges did the rest
