Scored it 8-4...Crawford last night. After rewatching realized I was wrong.

While I wouldn't go as far as saying whipped. I do agree that it wasn't this remarkably close fight that people seem to somehow believe it was. Quite a clear Crawford win.

I had it that Madrimov needed to win the last 2 to get a draw and instead Crawford won both clear and secured a clear victory.

Some of the commentary baffled me, saying they had Madrimov up on the cards most of the way through the fight. Quite bizarre

With all due respect mate.. there were no where in Crawford time that he look super human.. he is more Bernard Hopkins than Roy jones. Crawford is good but not generational talent!

I thought Crawford clearly won in a competitive fight but I think this thread is going OTT.

There was no domination or "whipping" it was a nip and tuck tactical fight with not much in it. But clearly Crawford won the fight in most peoples eyes due to winning all the championship rounds.

I scored it 116-113 for Crawford and I didn't understand the hate for the judges scorecards I thought they were quite fair in all honestly.

Crawford fans are a different breed. English speaking boxing forums are dominated by Americans so of course they will agree. If bud and his team thought he dominated, he wouldn’t be swinging for the fences in the 12th. This reminds me of people saying haney beat Loma 9-3. It’s the same thing all over again. OP belongs on Twitter where the rest of the budsexuals are. No matter what you say, most people had it a draw or 7-5 to either fighter

Those scores are what I had it 116-112,,before the scores were read I said ,115-113 was about as close as you could make it as Bud was the clear winner.

Watched it once, only need to watch it once.

9-3 Crawford. 117-111. There wasn't really much else besides the straight lead which gained Madrimov success in some of the rounds. He even went in the fight with a complete different style to the one which he won the belt, looked like he just wanted to go the distance with Crawford.

If you agree then cool, if you think it was a draw or Madrimov won then cool, whatever, I don't care. We can all blurt out our reasonings why we scored it the way we did, & even after all that blurting probably no one's minds would have changed.

I like your 8-4 card more. Kudos from me to Madrimov for taking Bud the distance for first time in 8 years. Also marking Crawfords face up some. He def came to win. But Crawford was quick to the counter and ultimately landed more. Nice fight, maybe match Madrimov against Tszyu next. Fundora next for Crawford?

I thought it was almost a shut out. I can't give rounds for landing 2 or 3 good punches at the most but you're doing LITERALLY NOTHING for 95% of the round.

11th pro fight, but he's far from a noob. The dude is like 30 years old......300+ pro fights and he was fighting as a light heavyweight most times. What TF did people expect Crawford to do..... Come in and stop him with a 3 punch combo and then bark about being ready for Canelo?.......

Some people are "Man Fans" who think they are boxing fans. Crawford clearly is elite and his previous performance vs Spence left a lot of people amazed at his ability....but we have to understand that he is facing other world class fighters. They train hard too. He's not going to simply swing and the opponents just lay down.

Many feel Madrimov did better than expected because they were calling him a cherry pick, or easy out, etc.... Some of us knew how talented and sturdy he was. I honestly feel like he didn't have as much success with Crawford as he could have because of either his gameplan or unwillingness to provide more offensive out of fear of Crawford's countering ability.

Using feints for 10 rounds.....damn. How many times are you going to pump fake before shooting your shot?
