Could Frazier have enough success trying to backup a man 75lbs his sr who can set up and time them uppercuts behind the jab? Frazier might roll some of his straight rights and hooks, but could Bakole use those straight rights and hooks to get Frazier weaving then time him with some of them uppercuts?

I wonder the same. Frazier’s biggest opponent was Buster Mathis who was roughly 250 but didn’t seem to have the power Bakole had. Bakole’s swings bring memories of an Old George as well.

Regardless, Bakole is still quite slow. Frazier shouldn’t have too much trouble moving his head to avoid those swings, nor should he have too much trouble landing on Bakole, only question is how long can he do this until he pays for it? Can he knock out Bakole before he himself gets knocked out? It’s a lot to overcome, not to mention a stylistic hurdle with Bakole’s 80 pound advantage, durability, good shot selection and accuracy.

I thought Bakole had reasonably fast hands given his size --- certainly not slow. And his work rate was impressive, especially given his size. I'd assume he can't keep that up for 12 rounds though.

He has got quick hands from what I’ve seen. It’d be unsurprising to see a guy that big work hard @cross_trainer showed me some stats that show Chisora threw more punches then Frazier did in the FOTC with just 12 rounds.

Joe Joyce threw 102 punches vs Joseph Parker in the 6th round of their fight. And from round 6 up until the stoppage he was averaging over 80 punches a round and ended up with over 800 punches thrown.

That's very impressive for a man of Joyce's size and people have been questioning how Joyce beat Parker well the statistics above show why!!!

Genuinely can't believe we have Bakole being mentioned in the same breath as ATG Smokin Joe Frazier.

Sometimes being an ATG can’t save you from a stylistically unfavourable matchup

I know he was, I wasn’t being serious either, but how can you tell if someone is ‘clearly being sarcastic’ in writing given no tonal implication or anything like that is possible?
