How do you think Povetkin in his prime does against these current Heavyweights?

    Oleksandr Usyk

    Tyson Fury

    Joseph Parker

    Martin Bakole

    Zhilei Zhang

    Andy Ruiz

I'd favor Fury but give Sascha a chance.

No chance he beats Usyk whatsoever.

IMO bar Fury and Usyk. I'd back prime Povetkin against all those guys. I could see prime Povetkin v Parker (Parker now) being a close fight though.

I just see Povetkin outworking, awkwardly enough against Bakole, Ruiz, Zhang.

I think there is quite a big gap with Usyk/Fury compared with the HWs listed.

    Usyk he loses.

Fury might just be too big, but he's been knocked down and hurt by smaller men before, and Sascha had both solid whiskers and good punching power...
Prime Pov Vs current Fury I could see going either way - it depends if Fury is as declined as I think he probably is.

    Everyone else he beats.

    Loses to Usyk

Loses to Fury, though may score a KD

Beats Parker in a close fight.

Gets stopped by Bakole. (may change this answer once I've seen how Bakole takes shots from Povetkin level punchers)

    Wins a UD over Zhang

Beats Ruiz in a good fight.

Lol still on that Tyson Fury and Usyk hype train? Povetkin beats all of these guys not because of how good Alexander was but because how bad and overrated these guys are.

Um Bakole couldn't handle Michael Hunters power. Povetkin destroys him. Parker gets stopped. He couldn't even handle Whyte's power. Fury couldn't keep blown up cruiserweight Usyk away and was almost stopped by him. Povetkin knocks out Fury. Zhang was knocked down earlier on in his career and was almost stopped by Jerry Forrest. Zhang beating a 38 year old Wilder and a slow Joe Joyce doesn't make Zhang a monster. Povetkin beats him. Ruiz was hurt badly by a faded Chris Arreola. Ruiz beat one person in his career worth mentioning and that is Joshua. Ruiz hasn't look good before this fight or after. Alexander beats him easy. Usyk beating Witherspoon, Chisora, Dubois, a mentally damaged Joshua after Ruiz did it first and overrated Fury doesn't make Usyk a elite heavyweight. Povetkin beats him.

Oh Usyk is extremely bad and overrated. Just an undefeated undisputed world champion in 2 divisions, that is absolutely nothing to speak of. He's awful

Bakole Hunter was a while ago and he was stopped mainly through fatigue. He took the power of Anderson and Kuzmin well and I'd consider those guys to be harder punchers than Hunter. Pov would be at a huge size disadvantage and I'm not sure he was defensively good enough to avoid Bakole forever.

Parker could conceivably be stopped but I don't see it happening. He got dropped by Whyte's best shot and fought till the end.

Usyk is a much more skilled fighter than Povetkin, much better defensively, and is also a southpaw. Pov would have a much harder time getting past Fury's reach.

Zhang loses I agree, but you're downplaying him.

Ruiz was hurt by Arreola but took a Joshua's shots well. And before the Joshua fight he arguably deserved the win over Parker which would've made him a champion.

You're right, Usyk's resume sucks. Pov's resume consisting of Old Byrd, Chambers, Chagaev, Takam, Usyk victim Huck, David Price, and Whyte is far superior lol.

He beats Parker and Ruiz. Would make him a favourite over Zhang. Against Bakole it's 50/50.
    Usyk and Fury beat him.

Beats them all apart from Fury and Usyk. Fury because he’s too big and Usyk because he’s too good.

Lol nobody cares about the cruiser weight division. Nobody has ever cared about that division. Also you do realize the current crop of heavyweights are bad? You do realize Usyk is pushing 40 and only has 20 something bout ? It is easy to no lose when you rarely get in the ring and when you fight in a weak era.

Also we are talking about at heavyweight to began with. If you think beating Chazz Wiitherspoon, Derek Chisora, Daniel Dubuis, a mentally damaged Joshua and Fury makes you a ATG then I won't even bother talking boxing with you. Then I look at your screen name and I know what type of "boxing" fan you are so bye bye.

    Loses to Usyk and Fury

Usyk I reckon would outbox him soundly over 12 rounds

Fury would keep him on the outside, Povetkin was very methodical but I don't think he was fleet footed enough to get close to Fury constantly
