    No brainer.

There's a reason Wilder never once faced Chisora during his prime.

I think Wilder was meant to fight Chisora in 2013? Not sure what happened. Was a while ago. Around the same time green Fury V prime Haye.

11 years ago, jeez. Time flies.

Lol did you see me say Wilder was anything special? The whole current heavyweight division is a joke and it has been that way for years. Wilder was a wild swinging hype job that feasted off tomato cans. But Wilder as his peak was still better than Chisora. Chisora beating a 41 year old Joyce isn't going to change that. If anything it shows how bad Joyce is which also shows how overrated Zhang is.

Always thought Chisora would give Wilder problems with his style. He'd keep him on the back foot and Chisora moves his head well enough to not just walk into a right hand early on.

Strange how the narrative is Wilder is more shot than Chisora. How is that possible? Chisora has had many more tough fights, had the same number of total fights, been stopped more, even fought Fury 3 times as well. He's also 2 years older and has a style that's seen him take more damage, if anyone should be more shot it should be Chisora.

Prime for prime, inch for inch, shot to bits for shot to bits, whatever metric you wanna use won't get around the fact that Wilder isn't very good and Chisora is a stylistic poison for him

The here and now, I think Chisora beats Wilder.

His marauding rough housing swarming style is exactly what Wilder doesn't need. Add in that Wilder is gun-shy and mentally shot now, and seems to have undergone some kind of weird personality change that is not really complementary with unarmed combat.....IMO.

I've noticed also that Wilder can/or starts to complain to the ref when he's been hit legally.

Zhang capitalised on that the last time out..

So, with the way Chisora pressures and fights, Wilder could possibly spend most of a round bending the refs ear...

Because Wilder was always very overrated and Chisora was often underrated.

Chisora's spent his career taking the biggest fights he could get and lost a few as a result.

Wilder spent his career ducking the biggest fights until a cherrypick went wrong - and kept his zero for a long time because of it.

Chisora is "just a gatekeeper" because he lost against most contenders he fought - regardless of the fact he was usually competitive and more than once a bit hard done by because he wasn't the A-side.

Wilder is often seen as a legit contender because he held a belt, beat a very overhyped Ortiz (who I've never been convinced was anything but an okay gatekeeper level fighter) and couldn't even do that without the benefit of A-side privilege.

Set the belt aside and just look at the names and levels of their opponents and who was more competitive against the better fighters... And honestly, it's Chisora, isn't it?

Yep, that's exactly what I was hinting at. If Wilder really was better in his prime, given their careers he should be a huge favourite now as everything Chisora did means he should have declined more.

It's so funny how the tables have turned. Thee were people in here worried for Chisora when this fight was spoken about. Saying Wilder will kill him etc. Any version of Chisora beats Wilder.

Crazy to think 12 months ago everyone was pleading for Chisora to stay away from Wilder....almost to save himself from a brutal KO, losing more brain cells etc

Now it feels like this is the fight to make.

Everyone and his dog knows Wilder never fought anybody pre Fury 1, please nobody say Ortiz because even there he never looked good against an aged cardiac patient and it's not because the fights couldn't have been made it's because Wilder didn't want anybody at the top of their game or even near it. When having to fight better opponents ie Fury 2/3, JP and Zhang he's been filled in and his limitations thoroughly exposed.
On the other hand Del Boy has never avoided anybody in his career and on more than one occasion got a bum deal on the cards. Triangle theories usually don't work in boxing but on the occasions Del Boy has taken a beating would Wilder have fared any better with the same opponent or even level of opponent? You know he wouldn't.

In my opinion, Derek Chisora always beat Deontay Wilder.

We've not seen Wilder do anything but stand there and get punched. I see no reason that isn't post dated to believe Wilder will defeat anyone on any level.

To believe Wilder beats Chisora is to believe Wilder's ready to try again. I don't know that. I'm not sure Deontay knows that. We all know if all he's going to do is stand there stupidly looking stupid, he will lose.

Chisora KOs any version of The Dosser. I told you all this long ago. The Dosser couldn't deal with Belly's pressure and power for goodness and we all know Chisora has a much better chin than The Dosser.

Belly couldn't drop Chisora in any of their three fights, he couldn't not drop The Dosser multiple times in their three fights sans the first one where he was an inactive muscle atrophied shell of himself and obviously that was the slick elusive Belly of old who only came to outbox him not Kronk Belly.

The Dosser's best wins in a near 50 fight career are Ortiz and Stiverne

Chisora beats them and everyone they beat
