    Stylistically Ortiz is made to order for Crawford easy to hit and loads up most of the time. That's not the style that gives Crawford trouble.

    Ortiz beats him. Bohachuk was noticeably bigger, has better power at 154, and Ortiz was still in his face all night going toe to toe. I think Bud will be overwhelmed trying to constantly engage with a bigger puncher. Let’s not forget that Crawford also has some serious defensive holes.

    Crawford weighed more than career 154 Madrimov despite it being his 154 debut, his 4th weight class, and looking lean and ripped.

    And I believe Madrimov would've clearly beaten him with the experience of a couple of 12 rounders under his belt against actual world class opponents

    Even if he'd just let his hands go more he would've and if Crawford, like Usyk and Loma when they moved up in weight, was actually facing much or way bigger opponents, let alone much or way bigger and longer, instead of one he weighed more than with a way longer reach than, he would've needed smelling salts to revive him

    As for Crawford vs Ortiz. That's an interesting match up and you have to ask yourself how would Crawford have been able deal with Bohachuk's nonstop pressure, toughness, power and even his length because he has a 73'' reach. Bohachuck is going to throw a lot more than Madrimov did and his arms are a lot longer than Madrimov's too

    I agree. Too many people dismissing the fact that Madrimov was a very good, strong and fundamentally sound operator. If I had to bet, Madrimov being a problem for some time is a safe one.

    I think Crawford is Too skilled
    With excellent timing.
    If Ortiz had been on his grind the last 3 years sharpening with top opposition I would think his youth & strength would trouble Bud.

    Bud by TKO late.

    A 37yr old Crawford needs to stay away from a mauling pit bull like Ortiz.

    Crawford retirement fight just needs to be Spence at 154

    I like Crawford.

    Ortiz has talent, and while not elementary by any means he's not a Rubik's cube in there, either.

    Crawford figures Ortiz out and capitalizes on those openings to a decision win.

    The beauty of all this is we will find out soon. Unless Turki changes his mind we should be getting Ortiz and Crawford with Stevenson and Zepeda on the undercard

    Going toe to toe with power and no movement and feints doesn't trouble Crawford unless he gets old overnight he will have his way with Ortiz. Honestly I have limited interest in the fight. I'd rather see Crawford face boots instead

    Ortiz and Bohachuk are too big, too strong and hit too hard for both Crawford and Madrimov, and they beat the brakes off of both of them. Neither Bud nor Israil have the firepower to keep them at bay. Clearly Bud's power is greatly diminished at 154, whereas Israil has never been a one punch guy. That's when iron chinned, stronger, heavier handed fighters do as they please and walk right through your ass. Even if Ortiz and Bohachuk play it safe initially, which they probably should, their output is high enough, angles and combos hard to defend against and accuracy great enough, that even if they can't score a knockout, it's probably more than enough to secure them wins on the cards. Madrimov came damned close, and do people really think Vergil and Sergii can't best in in multiple departments? Stop deluding yourselves. What? You didn't learn your lessons last week?

    Next year Vergil Ortiz. Bud is clearly on the decline having peaked with Spence, and Ortiz just leveled up and just started peaking.

    i dont think bud can stand up to 12 rds of ortiz, now that ortiz knows what 12 rds is. bud is not the physical menace that he was at 147. sure, he is a better boxer, but not so much better that he can avoid catching hard shots from a guy who hurts everyone he catches. boha took an insane amount of punishment to the body. i dont think bud could take that much without breaking. plus, vergil is a better fighter today, than he was last week. and will be a better fighter next month than he is today. while bud has seen his best already.

    Love to see it but tbh I thought Vergil was a better inside better than he showed the other night. He seems to undermine his own work when he's letting shots go, the body shots were nice but going to head.....it was pretty rugged.

    Anyhow I'd pick Crawford to stop him late.
