You did - Let’s work section by section if you want for a bit of fun. Will you give Marciano that “point”? I’m not trying to sound like a jerk - rereading that post.
I didn’t see it in the post you tagged me in. Where does Evander succeed Marciano for skill IYO? One point at a time preferably.
Holyfield wouldn't get caught big and if he did, he would fight on and survive. CW Holyfield would beat Marciano, especially after the learning experience of the first Qawi (who would be a hard time for Marciano himself) fight as another poster mentioned. He would be bigger, stronger, more technical, as tough if not tougher, and is the more proven man against the better fighters. Marciano would have a bad time getting hit by Holyfield and would probably be stopped by the round 10 imo considering how much damage he incurred against smaller, lesser punchers.
That is interesting maybe he meant grappler, inside fighting manipulator? could be some truth to that. Evander Holyfield was no doubt among the strongest heavyweight champion in terms of sheer strength / lifting potential. Juiced up, working with bodybuilders benching in the high 300s for sets of 10 that’s about as strong as Wlad. I can only think of “Rockman” Rahman as stronger than those two.
Whatever the flip moringa is, what that's supposed to do for you, this fight would do a lot of the opposite of that for both of them.
Well for one thing Holyfield's footwork is much more refined than Marciano. People do vids on it like this for a reason: This content is protected
Because he is, highest KO ratio with a reason. Also Rocky was walking heavy, was heavy man before boxing while Holyfield started in amateurs like a small LhW.
KO percentages have zip to do with strength. Holyfield was stronger than Tyson and Ken Norton remarked on how much stronger Holyfield was than himself. Marciano's percentage was for the most part scored over smaller men and several of them older. At under 190lbs Holyfield stopped Tillman189lbs Qawi 190lbs Parkey187 1/2lbs Mutti192lbs Ocasio190lbs As a heavyweight he stopped. Dokes 225lbs Rodrigues 221lbs Thomas 222lbs Tillis210lbs Tyson222lbs Moorer234lbs Neilsen 238lbs Maddalone 234lbs Stewart 213lbs McDonagh212lbs Douglas 246lbs Cooper216lbs Czyz211lbs Bates 2251/2lbs Botha 250lbs And he floored top chins like Mercer and Bowe Where are Marciano's equivalent scalps?
This is funny because on a different thread I said there wasn't a boxing clinic that Holyfield couldn't turn into a war. original question: There's only one person that has smaller physical dimensions than Holyfield that I think could beat him at their most prime..........Tyson. I would go with Holyfield but wouldn't be all that comfortable with my selection.
