Agreed. Canelo's always been a deck stacking POS which is all the more annoying because he's actually good. He could have had a legendary career without all the a side shenanigans

No, boxing is a business. Was Mayweather crazy for the 300 million for boxing Mcgregor?

I've been critical of Canelo and made it very clear that I'm not happy about him ducking Benavidez and fighting Berlanga. But what I'm not gonna do like some of ya'll is cry about it every day and act like he stole your girlfriend.

He doesn't want to fight Benavidez. That much is abundantly clear. Has been for some time now.

No I think he's in retirement mode.
And Benavidez is being frozen out for personal reasons. Unless...

he is creating a favorable starting bid for his remaining big fights. he knows he isnt getting that kind of money, but he knows he can get more than hes been getting. hes giving himself a higher ceiling for negotiations.
canelo may fight guys only on his time line, but hes fought them.

You'd probably buy him a beer and ask if that was ok if he stole your girlfriend.

Another fine post from yourself. SMH.

How am I a hater exactly?

There is zero demand to see Crawford fight Benavidas.

And even if they fought, why would that guarantee that Canelo would fight the winner?

I don’t actually mind Canelo not wanting to fight Crawford. Because apart from the huge financial gain, he’d be in a no-win situation. He’d have everything to lose and nothing to gain. He’d be hugely embarrassed if he were to lose, and hardly anybody would give him credit for a victory.

However, the circumstances with Benavidas are completely different. And that is a 100% duck.

Aren't these the big bad courageous boxers who are just trying to bravely fight the best fighters out there? Or are these moneyhungry pretenders who are only waiting for Canelo to grant them a fight?

Keeping this in mind you have to ask yourself who is ducking who.

Benevidez and Crawford need to step up and fight each other or they need to shut up.

Canelo needs money for a solid diamond buttplug apparently.

Realistically I can see Canelo destroying Crawford. Madrimov was good but the reason Crawford struggled so badly with him was it was an opponent his own size who's world class. He won't be able to hurt Canelo or take his power.

The Benavidez fight is close to 50/50 but I still lean to Canelo. The interesting thing about that fight is they both have weaknesses that the other will exploit. Canelo's stamina and flat footedness, Benavidez predictable combos and wide open defense.

It would be a bit like Margarito vs Cotto but in this case the Cotto (Canelo) has never been dropped.
