Since their respective one sided losses (Usyk UD Joshua, Bivol UD Canelo), which cash cow has taken on the stronger opposition?

    Canelo:
Mungia (43-0) - top 10, maybe top 5 type of brawler. Not elite.
Charlo (35-1) - 154lber. Elite in his own division, top 10 at 168. Cash out for him.
Ryder (32-5) - very solid top 10 fighter, was perhaps top 5 at one point.
Golovkin (42-1) old ATG. Complete show fight. Cash out for Golovkin.

    Joshua:
Ngannou (0-1) - MMA fighter known for a close loss to Fury. Has still never won a pro boxing match.
Wallin (26-1) - top 15 at best, known for a close loss to Fury. Can't punch, best win is CW Gassiev
Helenius (32-4) - old journeyman. Coming off a KO1 loss
Franklin (21-1) - young journeyman. Top 50 type

Canelo has recently been slated (fairly) for his ducking of Benavidez and his avoidance of the best his division(s) have to offer. At the same time, I keep hearing about the marvellous "win streak" of a former champion in Joshua. Both fighters seem a bit rattled after coming off of comprehensive schoolings. Comparing the two, who has taken on the stronger opposition lately?

Canelo, even Ryder and Munguia > Dubois and that's ajs best opponent in the last 2 years

It's hard to find any 'star' boxer with an easier and more protected run than AJ lately. The only reason it works is that his fans are so gullible, possibly the worst fans in boxing.

AJ literally went running after points losses Usyk and refused to fight Fury and Wilder, then in-form Zhang, even Joyce before that (who called him out), so he could 'rebuild' for four fights. It's unheard of.

Not only did he avoid the top fighters, his opposition was even worse than it looked on paper. Wallin was his sparring partner and Helenius was done and actually fought the week earlier.

Both are underwhelming but its Canelo hands down. None of AJ's opponents are impressive. Ngannou is a joke albeit great MMA fighter.

Why are you comparing Clenelo to a guy that lost titles 3 years ago instead of comparing him to fellow undisputed (until recently) champions like Usyk, Inoue and Crawford? That would be much more reasonable comparison and Clenelo won't look good at all in it

Also, no way Ryder was top 5, there can't be any arguments for it. Got a gift decision against shot Jacobs, got demolished by Mungia right after. Borderline top 10 at very best

In that case he should have chosen Jake Paul instead of AJ to make Clenelo look better lol

Love this. A Fury fan starting a thread like this when his idol defended his WBC belt and claimed lineal status against Chisora and Ngannou while ducking Usyk. And all the Fury fan boys chiming in. General going full ******. :)

Your boy lost against "a gap-toothed middleweight" whom he had been running from for two years. Accept that and move on. There's still the chance of Fury getting a gift in the rematch, so don't give up just yet.

As much as I have criticised his opposition lately and his ridiculous ducking of Benavidez, the answer is still obviously Canelo.

GGG was shot to pieces but he was a 160lb champion
Ryder was coming to the end of his career but he was a 168lb interim champ, and should have been 168lb WBA champ when he got robbed by Callum Smith years ago
Charlo was undersized and came to survive, but he was the undisputed 154lb champion
    Minguia was a former champion

AJ’s 4 opponents were not, and did not ever, come close to being champion-level quality. Wallin was his only win of substance, and the only win remotely comparable to Canelo’s wins.

voted Canelo. I’m still not convinced that Mungia won’t go on to do good things. He’s a tough fight for anyone I think.

The OP is a Joshua hater. You know the type that constantly talks shite about someone. They secretly love them why else would they be that triggered to start a thread lol . It's just a Joshua hate thread. Pathetic really.

AJ. He has taken on best available while Canelo has avoided best available.
