So since the rematch has been confirmed for the Beterbiev-Bivol undercard on October 12th, who do you see winning? First fight was fantastic. I think Wardley gets the finish this time, but it's not a very confident pick.
Can’t confidently make a pick in this one as of right now. Loved the first fight though and can’t wait to see them in the ring again!
Clarke surprised me too in the last fight, not that he was competitive but in what he was doing, he showed more skill than I expected. He seems to have improved since turning pro and so I'm leaning towards Clarke to win another close fight.
Think Wardley has far more room for improvement and is with a camp that will micro analyse where they can do things differently, plus Wardley has more of a natural fighters instinct and will definitely push hard for the finish if and when he has Clarke hurt. Going for a mid-late stoppage by Wardley in another barn stormer.
I've not much confidence in my prediction but I think Clarke could take it on points. Wardley will throw everything at him but Clarke will take confidence from the last fight and know how to use his superior skills snd experience. But I'll probably be wrong. Looking forward to it.
If Clarke has improved his stamina a bit I’d take him on points. Otherwise I could see Fabio stopping him this time round
Clarke on points. I think he'll do more or less what he did in the first fight but try to avoid getting sloppy and allowing Wardley to hurt him.
Wardley does not have to make a very complex adjustment here to box Clarke's ears off and possibly stop him. Wardley to win a decision here or get a late stoppage.
