Wilder is 1-4 since 2020 so a victory over a shot Wilder doesn't mean as much now.

Joyce is 1-3 in his last 4 fights and recently lost to a 40 year old shot Chisora hence the win over Joyce doesn't seem quite as good now.

Joshua's resume is not great either but alot of people thought Ngannou beat Fury. So even though Ngannou is an MMA fighter, Fury turned him into a top 10 contender hence Joshua's dominant win over Ngannou is decent.

Wallin was in the top 10 and most felt it was a banana skin fight and no expected Joshua to destroy Wallin solid win.

Franklin had a very close fight vs Whyte that could've gone either way an okish win for Joshua nothing special but an ok win.

Helenius had a weeks notice and is shot so not much credit for this win.

PS I love how these Tyson Fury fan boys discredit Joshua for fighting Ngannou. But yet it's Fury's fault for fighting Ngannou in the first place, and giving such a poor performance which in turn gave the impression Ngannou was a top 10 contender. Blame your idol for struggling against Ngannou if he would've done a proper job on him like Joshua then Ngannou would've been out of the picture.

That's very inconsistent. Despite what you may think of Joyce and Wilder they were still top ten, in Wilders case he had that distinction for years.

Ngannou should never have had a ranking despite how poor Fury looked against him. In what point of history has another 0-1 novice ever been ranked? AJ had no business fighting him at all, nor did Fury. Any justification on this is purely hypocritical.

Fraud is a stretch. He's more overrated than anything else, or I guess he was before Usyk.

Wallin was a Top 10 contender according to The Ring Magazine and Top 5 contender according to TBRB.

They clearly are better options than the likes of Ngannou and Helenius though and excuses by fans wouldn't change that. Helenius has been kayoed by Duhaupas and Washington and Ngannou has never won a pro fight.

No he shouldn't but as I said that's Fury's fault for having a controversial decision vs Ngannou giving people the impression he was a top 10 Heavyweight.

Fury started the circus and Joshua ended it and saved boxing's reputation by dismantling Ngannou.

Fury was a champion Joshua was not what is a champion doing fighting a MMA fighter ? He could've fought Usyk much earlier saving us the embarrassment of the Ngannou fight.

Sure Fury started it, still doesn't justify AJ fighting him though. Since losing to Usyk AJ has only fought one marginal top ten fighter. Props to him facing Dubios next, but he needed to do more before getting another title shot.

I'm not sure where the idea that a close loss gets you ranked comes from either. It sounds silly.

Again I'm not saying Ngannou was a legitimate top 10 Heavyweight I'm saying Fury gave people the impression that he was a top 10 Heavyweight. Fury gave him the hype and the clout so much so that there was even certain posters on here that thought Ngannou could be a threat to Joshua.

I blame Fury for it entirely because he started the whole circus, and it's worse for him because not only did he embarrass himself. He was the current Heavyweight world champion as I said what is he doing fighting an MMA fighter ?

Joshua fought Ngannou because Fury gave Ngannou the clout. So Joshua's probably thinking big pay and I can KO a fighter that Fury struggled against. As i said if Fury would've done what Joshua did to Ngannou then Joshua wouldn't of fought him.

Are you serious? Wilder is finished and AJ has beaten Parker, Joyce was never that good, Makhmudov isn`t as good as Wallin, Hrg was overrated, Sanchez was unproven.

I think people forget Helenius was a last minute replacement Joshua was originally going to fight Whyte.

Infact Joshua would've fought Wilder aswell but Wilder failed against Parker.

Immensly entertaining career. Ups and downs, from attempted Frank Bruno replica to meltdowns and plastic gangstery. From boy scout to a proper boxing villain.

I was actually just thinking that we haven’t gotten an AJ hate thread in a while and then boom, thunderstorm saves the day. Yes AJ haters, he’s still a top guy because of his activity, fame, and willingness to fight top opponents.
