I'm getting the feeling you're not much of a Tyson fan. He usually weighed in around 218/220 he was a heavyweight. D4fine "bully fighter" genuine question.

How could he beat everyone except Usyk when he already lost to Douglas and Lewis and of course to Holyfield.

Hard to see a prime Tyson not coming under the jab and landing something significant.

Also. For those picking Tyson Fury. The one good smaller fighter he fought he got dropped, pretty much stopped and lost. Mike cleans his clock, as he does with Wilder and AJ

Tyson is overrated by casuals and majorly underrated on forums

I would pick Tyson to beat Usyk due to their styles. Not saying Tyson is better, but head to head I think he would stop him

Wlad has the size, tools etc, but he will get clipped eventually

Vitali is a tough fight for Mike and could win a frustrating fight

Tyson runs over Wilder and Aj easily

He beat Fury with some difficulty, but could be his hardest style match up outside vitali

I think Vitali is one of the least talked about heavyweight monsters of all time, by casuals and aficionados alike. I've always assumed that's because people think if you say his name three times, he'll appear behind you with that assasin's glint in his eye......

Using the Lewis fight as proof of anything is ridiculous. Mike was shot to pieces.

I would pick Tyson to KO Usyk. Usyk is having a speed and skill advantage that he would not have vs Mike. Mike is faster and both are skilled yet with different styles. Chisora gave Usyk hell with his pressure. Also Mike's body punching is devastating and Usyk has shown he's more vulnerable there.

It's because his resume is thin. I like him but his competition was poor.

Agree with this - there's not many I'd favour against Usyk, but prime Tyson I think is maybe the worst style match up for Usyk, factoring in the Briedis fight, body work speed etc. Would have been something to see though!

Vitali is a head to head nightmare for any Heavyweight in history. That doesn’t mean I think he beats all of them just that none of them would have an easy night trying to get rid of him with his Chin, height, awkward lean back style, etc.
Resume wise he isn’t a top 10 heavyweight. People hate Vitali simply because he was Wlad’s brother.

Yes he does both at their peak. Tyson’s handspeed and footwork would be the difference.

He could 'chin' Wlad....maybe but Foreman and Vitali were very intimidating, they wouldn't be in awe of Tyson at all. I think he'd have a very hard time with those two. Holyfield picks Tyson to beat everyone just because he beat Tyson. It's simple as that. He doesn't pick him over Usyk because Usyk is a special fighter and Usyk gave him a watch. :)

Usyk is amazing, but yeah I 100% agree with your post. Tyson ran through some good guys in his time, but they are overlooked

Although usyks weakness to pressure and the body may be a little over hyped, he definitely has showing some weakness

If chisora can hurt him and Fury make him back peddle with an uppercut and bodyshots? Then prime tyson would butcher him

He's a fair bit taller than Mike but not as tall as the other guys like Green, Smith, Tucker, Douglas etc to bother Mike

Usyk may be better than Evander (not imo) but he certainly isn't tougher and couldn't bully Mike the same way.

He's fast, but Mike is faster and his high workrate won't mean anything when he gets countered. Usyk is also too nice to fight dirty and won't be headbutting him like Holyfield

No disrespect to Usyk, but this isn't a great stylistic matchup. I'm extremely confident Mike stops him within 4-5 rounds

    You’re kidding, right?

Mike Tyson is tailor-made for Foreman.
