Okay, we’re on the same page now. By ‘elite’, I simply meant the best of the best, which Trinidad isn’t, as punchers go. Yes, he is certainly an excellent hitter, we can agree on that. I don’t think he’d give Crawford all that much trouble but I admit I don’t have a puncher like Trinidad to point to in Crawford’s defense.
Fair enough we can leave it at that. I agree that Crawford should be a slight favourite over Tito but as you said Crawford hasn't fought a puncher on the level of Tito. And we also haven't really see Crawford take flush punches off a notable hitter either.
Interesting fight. Trinidad was a huge close to 6ft. He had fight changing power in that he carried his power late into fights. We saw him put Reid down late and finish Vargas. He had outstanding stamina as well. Crawford has the ring IQ, snappy power himself, he's a mean little *******. Terance would be able to read and counter Tito but he couldn't afford too many mistakes. I think Trinidad wears him down..gets a knockdown or two on his way to a UD. I wouldn't bet either way though..
