Reminds me of that 90s movie the Great White Hype, where they have a press conference to announce the heavyweight champions next defense. Cheech Marin is the head of a alphabet belt organization and looks sheepishly as its announced his next opponent is rated #10 by his organization despite this being his debut fight.

I'm Parker's biggest hater in here, and even I agree; Parker mops the floor with this hype job.

There's clearly talent there - but he's being way overhyped, and far far too soon.

Parker's not always the most fun to watch but he's proven and legit, top 4 at absolute minimum.

It's way, way too big an experience gap for a prospect to bridge... Definitely not now, possibly not ever (depends how he develops!).

I think Parker beats Moses, more than that I don't even think it should be a conversation BUT at the risk of raking over old coals, for there is a thread for this, I actually think Dillian Whyte is a name Moses should be looking at within the next three fights. Made for him in my opinion, but maybe not quite yet.

Why is it "hatin'" to believe that Itauma would clean out Parker, who is nothing special and was absolutely obliterated by Joe Joyce?

Not quite yet? Whyte has always been chinny, or at least since the Joshua fight in which he was obliterated. Almost ten years on, he is old and shot to bits. His feet were always slow as hell, and he'll be even slower now. Itauma would run right over Whyte and overwhelm him.

That's precisely why i call him a hypehob.
    Is he talented? Yes.
    Will he go far? Probably.
But man, they hype this dude is getting is bizarre. he hasnt fought ANYBODY. literally every single one of his opponents was there to lose. he has not been tested. put him in there with a young man who wants to win, and lets see how he does.

Also, I got Parker as a clear top 5, but some people act like hes some dark horse on the horizon, when hes not. hes shown his level and hasnt shown me anything for me to think hes a changed fighter. narrowly beating the gassed chinaman and outpointing wilder's ghost doesnt fool me.

I agree but, and it's a big but, Moses hasn't been chinned yet. He's not been in with a 'live' body who can, and will, try to manhandle and rough house him. I'd try him against a couple of opponents like that then make Whyte followed by Chisora if he's still plodding along!!

Because Itauma hasn't beaten anyone of note yet. Joe Joyce would likely flatten him too.

Worth noting Parker is the only boxer to successfully outpoint Wilder, which is odd imo.
