Why not look at it the other way? Why wasn’t Parker’s promoters shouting Parker’s availability and willingness to step in “from the rooftops”

Exactly. Plus the fact that the fight was at the O2 and for no belts etc so not much chance of getting a bigger name in.

He made two call-out videos and took on top 5 opponents in his last two. Certainly better than any effort AJ had made.

About time he did something. You can’t be getting splattered by Joe Joyce and be fighting the jack masseys and Simon keans forever.

Although I would say Wilder isn’t a “top 5 opponent” and probably not even close.

I do agree though that he would have been a good opponent for Joshua whilst he’s in a rebuilding phase. Big enough name but is pillow fisted so low risk for AJ.

He's still done more than AJ. Discredit him all you want, Parker doesn't shy away from hard fights.

Shy away lol. Just the 4 years of fighting anybody well outside of the top ten.

It's already been explained to you that Joshua tried to make better fights than Helenius. You're choosing to play ignorant. That makes you look stupid tbh. If that's how you get your kicks then crack on little man lol

    Oh.
Yea, that one was just a money fight for Joshua. Well, he was supposed to fight Wilder on that date, but it is what it is.

Beating those guys means very little though. Guys outside the top 10 like Charles Martin could potentially beat all those guys. They are fighters I would expect top 20/25 guys to handle comfortably. What has Gassiev done at heavyweight?

Look I don't think Wallin is some great name but the fact is he was considered a banana skin fight for Joshua. With alot of fans thinking it would be a tough fight for Joshua and likely a distance fight.

Joshua dismantled Wallin early with ease and based on the context of the victory it's a solid win for Joshua nothing amazing but solid.

The same people that are criticising Joshua for these fights and yet these same opponents all came close to beating Fury so what does that say about Fury ?

The fact remains he hasn't, and it's taken him 4 fights to get to Dubios since losing to Usyk.

Seeing you try and defend AJs latest run is rather sad tbh.
