Got offered $1.5M for a unification bout against a top fighter just to turn it down. His last fight against Giovani Santillan he earned $100,000, and now he thinks that he’s already worth more than $1M? C'mon now... :ohno

Brian Norman Jr has literally done f()ck all to be requesting more than $1M. He's lucky that they offered them this much to begin with. Turning down a career high offer is a bone headed move.

I hate it but I don't blame him. The smart thing to do is wait for Ennis to be too big for welterweight (aka duck) because Ennis would demolish him and the entirety of 147. Norman jr would lose to Chukhadzhian i am not joking.

Ennis just needs to move up to 154 he demolished that lot too and there are more names

What a waste of time and Ennis versus Karen fight would be he should just dump the belt. Everyone knows he’s the number one at the weight.

Anything Hearn says, I take it with a grain of salt. One of the biggest liars and hypocrites in boxing. He puts people like Bob Arum and Don King to shame in some aspects. (the Conor Benn situation for example).

Exactly. He likes to omit things that tells the whole story.

Likely they want to put options on Norman so it severely hinders his future career.

Hearn is like the Drake of boxing.

''The IBF, which is absolutely ridiculous, has ordered Boots vs Karen Chukhadzhian. Listen, the kid is a good fighter but Boots has already beaten him. The IBF have got to STOP with this ordering fights that people don't want to see, especially when he has already beaten him''

He's still traumatized from that sparring session they had. Boots would whoop him.

They’re definitely thinking long term here. Brian doesn’t seem like he’ll move up well and will probably try to be the top dog at 147. He knows he can’t do that with Ennis around.
