BF, you do know that you can't control other people's perceptions or comments on things on a public board, right? If it really is such an issue for you, just block certain people so you don't have to argue with them. It may be in your best interest to do just that.

Not a single valid argument as expected from Liston and Williams nuthugger.

Feel free to show me any post where I've been nuthugging Williams SerbianLoudmouth.

    I'll wait.

Don't panic tho, your credibility isn't at all on the line - you've never attained any to lose.

 that’s certainly one of the only things he has going for him. There’s no where to go but up.

Yeah, and you Liston and Williams nuthuggers should be called Swag and the rest of the crew, like secret police who attack in group everyhing that says something negative about heroes.

Like I said no valid argument, no point of conversation like green fighters with over 35 fights ha haaa.

I like Witherspoon alot but i do think he gets a tad overrated here, yes he had a very good effort vs Holmes in a tremendous fight who i think was starting to slip at that point but still huge credit for Witherspoon.

But outside of that you have Witherspoon having very close fights vs the likes of Mike Williams, Renaldo Snipes, alot of people thought Witherspoon lost to Snipes.

Witherspoon was a two time world champion and again huge credit for him for that, but Page and Tubbs came into those fights grossly out of shape and fought a passive uneventful fight that Witherspoon won just by being more aggressive.

To put it into perspective when Tubbs won the title previously against Page he was 229 pounds but against Witherspoon in his very fight he was 244 pounds which is a whopping 15 pounds difference from just 1 fight.

The thing is i don't even know what a "prime Witherspoon" is exactly. He struggled immensely vs Renaldo Snipes then gave Holmes a good effort. Witherspoon then had an early stoppage vs James Tillis won the title off a lackluster Greg Page then was soundly beaten by Pinklon Thomas.

I mean i don't think there was ever a real period where you could say Witherspoon had a prime to be quite honest. He had singular performances that were good vs Holmes, Bonecrusher 1st fight, Tillis, Broad, etc. But then mixed into that were losses and performances that were less than stellar.

As for the thread Witherspoon was just not consistent enough so it's unrealistic to think he goes undefeated vs Liston's opposition when he couldn't be consistent in a era full of very inconsistent Heavyweights.

I don't like fantasy scenarios of an opponent being at his absolute best in multiple fights over a considerable amount of years because that's just not realistic for Witherspoon. If you want to pit Witherspoon in a single match up at his best in a hypothetical match up then that's fine. But realistically if Witherspoon is fighting multiple ranked contenders over numerous years then in a realistic scenario he doesn't stay undefeated.

And prior to fighting Holmes Witherspoon got a total gift vs Renaldo Snipes that most felt he lost.

Moral of the story is Witherspoon never really had a prime and for some of the good singular performances he had. There was always a loss or underwhelming performance to soon follow right around the corner.

    Too inconsistent.
