Povetkin is bigger than Norton and carries enough power to seriously trouble him. I think Povetkin would stop Norton personally even though i like Norton better as a fighter.

A bigger, stronger, and prime version of Quarry Is not someone that Norton can beat.

In a fight this close, I think it is fair to mention that Povetkin has at least one legit PEDs bust to his name. If the rules are well kept, Norton might indeed do better than you think.

There was no PED testing in Norton's time. Fighters in the 70s didn't have to worry about PED amounts, masking agents, etc. It was wide open in the 70s, a fighter could use as much as he wanted. We only have the "eye test" for those fighters...

I like that terrific left uppercut Alex threw to end the bout sometime > 6 rounds. Probably behind on the cards at the time but not by a wide margin. Be a real interesting fight to watch and both guys do things he opponent does not like.

Povetkin might take it on the merit of chin and punch, on top of being darn good himself. Kenny doesn't have the stylistic choices to nullify the compact Alexander, and a collision would likely wear Norton down faster than it does Sasha.

That being said, prime Norton still takes a good punch, and if dedicated to clever boxing combined with superiority inside can potentially upset this match-up.

I think Povetkin has too many guns in his arsenal for Norton. Ultimately this will be a tear up and Povetkin has the chin and power edge, not to mention the willingness to get into the trenches and beat the other guy to death with an old boot if need be. Norton was a fine fighter but I don't fancy this matchup for him.

Wait, this is the same Povetkin who was sitting on his mandatory spot while hiding in Russia claiming to be "not ready " for WK ?

Is this the same Povetkin who was ragdolled like a little kid by Glass chinned WK , in his Home counntry btw, when he finnally mustered up the balls to step up ?

Is this the same Povetkin who went life and death with featherfisted Marco Huck and Eddie"Creampuff" Chambers ?

Is this the same Povetkin who never ever could pick up a legitimate belt ?

Is this the same Povetkin who was blown out by the Bodybuilder who in his very next fight spit his mouth piece out and quit vs a late sub morbid obese Taco stand owner whose claim to fame was losing a decision to featherfisted paint dry Parker ?

Povetkin is the ultimate would could should but never did.

Norton fought Ali to a absolute stand still............Povetkin is not even in the same zipcode as accomplishments go.

Conclusion: Norton boxes his ears off and afterwards his Fans will complain the Judges were biased because he was a Commie.

I’m the only one so far who picked Povetkin on points. Lots picked him by KO. I’d like to give Ken the benefit of the doubt that he’d last the distance in a competitive fight
