Mosley was killing himself to make 135. Chavez would weather the storm and beat down Mosley from the 9th rd on. A fighter sacrificing weight for power would spell disaster for Sugar against Chavez because Chavez would fight 3 minutes of every round.

Great talent. Fought in a weak era.

Mosely has all the tools needed to take a UD over Chavez,,,I think he could do it but with zero confidence, a good fantasy matchup......

Wow this is a really difficult one. I'm leaning slightly towards Chavez, but not by much at all.

Shame he didn't have a run at 140. He was a bit small for 147

    Sugar Shane Mosley 116-112

This is one of the easiest fights to predict in my eyes.

Mosley was stronger , faster with an equal Iron chin to Chavez.

A bloodied Chavez comes up short in a action packed thriller.

    Bit small for 147 ?

Mosley even went up to 154 pounds and was still knocking MFs out at that higher weight class.

He fit in just fine at 147.
