I love Doheny and chatted with him about getting this payday months ago but I only called it a payday for him because this isn't an opportunity I give him much hope of capitalising on.

Inoue is advancing on Doheny with precise left jabs and resetting with his weight shifted backward, keeping himself out of reach of Doheny's southpaw 1-2. Inoue plowing some right hand leads on the belt line as well. Very quiet opener.

To be fair, he's facing a guy who's throwing lightning fast counters to almost anything he throws. It's hard not to be hesitant when you know something big is coming back.
