Frazier beats the vast majority of hard punchers in history.
Especially considering most hard punchers were not very
skilled.
Baer, Lyle ,Shavers, Schmeling, J.Johnson, Galento, Simms
M.Foster, C.Williams, Wilder , Esctch, Dempsey , (Dempsey was skilled, don't
think he matches up well against Frazier) etc
And countless other boxers that only had a powerful
punch .

 

As Frank Loteirzo said many years ago, next to Foreman, virtually no one looks like a puncher. Ali and Bonavena were both strong underrated punchers. I wish Frazier could have fought Ron Lyle to prove he could indeed handle a puncher close to that caliber. That being said, i firmly believe that Foreman was just an awful stylistic match up for Joe and that the majority of punchers in hw history would not have been able to replicate what Big George did.

 

Tall and super-hard hitters just simply get him. Wilder, Baer , Lennox prime examples.
Super-hard but short hitters may not feel comfortable with Joe's strength. (Shavers, Marciano, Joe wouldnt leave them space)

 

Definitely beats Tua ? I'm not sure about that. Tua has the power to seriously trouble Frazier along with an iron chin and a considerable weight advantage.

Ruddock's uppercut/smash would be very dangerous for the bobbing and weaving Frazier plus hes alot bigger with KO power.

And Lyle would also be a considerable threat to Frazier early.

These are guys that are considerablly bigger than Frazier with KO power. Frazier never beat a big Heavyweight with KO power.

I'm not saying Frazier couldn't win these fights but we haven't see Frazier defeat a KO artist before especially one with considerable size advantage.

Frazier had a good chin but he could be hurt aswell Bonavena had him down twice, Bugner had Frazier on rubber legs a few times with single shots. Ali had Frazier in serious trouble in the 2nd round of their rematch and got a lucky break from the referee.

 

It's easy to say Frazier beats most Heavyweight punchers in history but he never actually did it in real time who's the biggest puncher he fought ? And defeated ?
