Doheny was not there to win. It is hard to look good when you have a crafty veteran that isn’t looking to engage but survive. As soon as Inoue started landing and closing the gap he quit.

Beautiful - reminds me a lot of Zhang Ziyi, which is a hell of a compliment IMO

Looks like I made the right decision not to drag my ass out of bed early this morning.

MJ is fhe best fight ar 122. Espinoza is the best fight at 126, but Ramirez would also be really good.

Not his best showing but still a solid performance from Inoue. Looked like he was trying different things but he got the job done even if the outcome was a bit bizarre. Doheny made Inoue uncomfortable, landed some good shots and was showing some crafty veteran moves but it seemed like it was only a matter of time until Inoue stepped up the gas and break him down. Admirable performance from Doheny but a shame that he ended up hurting his back.

From what it's looking like Inoue will most likely face Sam Goodman this December and then face MJ next year. Perhaps we might even see him fight at 126 next year as well.

The sound of his shots, especially those nasty left hooks to the body

Inoue hit that man to the body so hard he threw his back out.

Seriously though, Doheny used the southpaw stance and veteran wiles to make it annoying at times, but Inoue did what Inoue does; outbox and smash.

And people think Inoue vs Tank Davis would be interesting? Tank would demolish him.

Anyways. Good workout for Inoue, Inoue not really fussed about Dohenys power from the start. Inoue's speed and combinations still seem fast at the higher weight, I'm thinking 126 is his ceiling though.

It is a very high leap. Inoue is the vastly superior boxer p4p though.

Oh, no doubt. I'd love to see it, but those overhand left's to the body and the head finds Inoue more than they should.

No he wasn't. He was in survival mode from the beginning bell. He folded as soon as Inoue stepped it up.

You can't say that, Doheny definitely threw plenty with a lot of heat on it and landed plenty too. He was just outmatched.
