This content is protected Really enjoyed listening to this. Hearn's ability to tell a story and captivate an audience is admirable.
I didn't mind that either! He's coming across quite bitter in his other YouTube interviews now. It's not necessarily fully his fault either, the 'interviewers' are after quotes and soundbites for clickbait headlines and because of that spend 2 minutes asking about the show and then 20 minutes getting him involved in other promoters business. He's fast become the person he said he wouldn't and all for views and clicks. Edit - I will add it doesn't take much to get him involved in other peoples business but he's not alone in that.
He should stop indulging the likes of "Parsons" and only speak to serious interviewers. He's always going to entertain IFL because of the history I suppose, but the other dozen channels that have sprouted up need Hearn a lot more than he needs them.
100 percent. The 'banter' is horrific and I'm not some miserable old bloke but I can't stand it. The access they get to the top people in Boxing regularly is unheard of in any other sport and if it was put to better use you'd get some brilliant content.
This content is protected Eddie Hearn makes a fool of Simon Jordan again. Jordan is ridiculously bitter and jealous of Hearn. I didn't realise until a couple of weeks ago Jordan is in a relationship with Michelle Dewberry. I need not say any more!
I decline to comment as I'd hate to objectify a woman. Totally unrelated but have you ever heard of the nouns knuckle-dragger and paper bag?
Before the Dubois v Joshua fight, we should stand for the Ten-Bell Salute to remember the fallen British Forum Legends over the past 12 months including Drama and Ex Army Jim.
I like listening to the boxing talk on talksport but I am starting to find Jordan annoying. He always wants to give the impression that he is in the know. The other day he was talking about boxing purses being too high to Turkey, and specifically mentioned nick balls purse. He has no right to say such a thing, and if I was Nick Ball I'd be ****ing fuming him using his purse as an example. I get the point he is making about purse inflation, but no need to name a fighter that puts it all on the line and deserves to earn a pound note.
He's all right as long as you're licking his arse and accept that in the power dynamic he's the one on top. I've watched a couple of those sit downs he does with athletes that are about an hour long, but I've only watched a couple because they are fairly mundane and he does as much talking as the athlete. The introduction part he says "there's a good chance I might learn something along the way and more importantly, so might you". It seems a bit stupid to me because there are things that are good to learn in life like a new skill or language or something like that, but not how Paul Ince's aunt used to smoke cannabis or even more ocnfirmation that David Moyes banned chips at Man Utd. It's all the same old shite.
