Wins over Parker, Chisora x 2 and old Povetkin are better than anything Lou has on his CV. Whyte also only lost to elite fighters, so ya I'd say he's better.

Debatable. But what isn't debatable is that Whyte's abysmal glass jaw makes it always possible for him to take a canvas nap against ANY opponent.

Yeah, the Fury detractors seemed to have leaped at the opportunity to say he sucks after Fury crushed him, saying it was another “easy fight” from Fury… even though until then, he was generally looked at as a top 5-10 heavyweight.

He’s decent, a level below the best.

You Joined the forum last month to ask this random question???

Why Lou? What made you pick these two fighters in particular?

The abiding image of Dill, is of him stretched out in Eddies back garden by ‘way of a past his best Povetkin.
Later, shamelessly enforcing a return on a covid ridden Pov’, barely able to climb into the ring!

He got knocked unconscious by a shot old man, before the Fury fight. He was slightly above average at his peak.

I just rewatched some Savarese highlights to remind me of him as it's been so long. Honestly he's better than I remember, my memory of him is pretty negative but the reality is he'd probably be very competitive with Whyte. Just goes to show how much better that era was compared to now. Whyte wouldn't be top 10 in the 90's that's for sure.

Old Foreman and Moorer were champs in the 1990s, don't see how anyone would think Whyte couldn't at least crack the top 10
