It looks to me like he couldn't take the skin off a rice pudding. But how much of a non-puncher is he?
I think he has good power, but that's not his style, maybe now that he's gained muscle mass, he's gained extra power...
What does that even mean? As far as I can see, he's boxing in the heavyweight division. Parker couldn't put a dent in Takam, Cojanu, Ruiz, Joshua, Fa, Joyce, Massey, Wilder, or Zhang. All of these opponents have been put on their arse. The two best opponents Parker has knocked out are Dimitrenko and Leapai, both of whom are crap.
He couldn't put away already gassed fighters. He couldn't put a dent on joyce who is known for blocking punches with his face. So yes, he's pillow fisted
Average power but he still dropped Chisora and hurt Wilder he can hurt many heavyweights if he loaded up on shots he isn't pillowfisted is the point
Think it's more the style he chooses to fight rather than being pillow fisted. It frustrated me when he fought Chisora. Looked like he could spark him out if he wanted but let it go the distance.
It looked to me like he couldn\t stop him. Is it just a coincidence that the best opponents he has stopped at Dimitrenko and Leapai?
It looked he hit Joyce with some big shots but Joyce kept coming, he has(had?) a great chin though. It looks hits hard when he can load up. He had to play it safe against Wilder and Zhang.
In the last 6 months, Parker has been working on his power How will it translate? We have yet to see....
