I knew they were no spring chickens but they'll soon be 30 and are 5-0 and 2-0 respectively.

Don't know a whole lot about them outside the ring but they seem to be pretty inactive, factor in their age and the signs are pointing towards them not really hitting the ceiling they maybe could have. Unless of course they get matched tough in a "fast track" from here on in and it pays off.

Hmmm too inactive I would say so probably be forgotten about soon enough. Both talented but not enough commitment.
Might well be other reasons for lack of activity, not sure.

If you get them active Pat can go as far as he wants, lukes well suited to pros a world title more than possible.

Neither live the life and don't fight often enough. Won't go anywhere.

Can you elaborate on not living the life part?

I trained with them for a short while when they were amateurs at Birtley, and they never missed a session from what I remember. Got a lot of mutual friends with them now and from what I'm told they do like a night out every now and then, but when they're in camp there's no messing about.

Pat has always been the slightly better of the two and obviously he's further on in his pro career as things stand. If he stays with BD I think he's near enough nailed on to be a world champ or at least fight for a title. Always thought Luke would get to European level but he definitely has the potential to push further as well.

Both good kids inactivity is against them though. 5 fights and 2 fights and its going to be at least another few years before they get to world lvl..

I saw one brother the other day. Up against a brave lad who wasnt up to much.. Id say hell run out of time. There'll be boxers five years younger who can b eat both across the pond. Pity cos they both good talented lads.

Very far, BUT they have to get a move on asap.

Far too much time has been wasted andbad luck with injuries/scans. They should just have a few more fights and just be thrown into british/european title fights. They have the amateur pedigree/experience.

I'd like to see Pat Mccormack face someone like Ekow Essuman for the British title in the first half of 2025. And Luke Mccormack should be looking at Kane Gardner, Cori Gibbs type Englid title level opponents.

I like those fight suggestions and suspect they win them handily, as is the way I suspect they bypass the domestic scene if kept active if im honest
