Are people becoming a little hypocritical when it comes to Usyk?

Usyk did not let AJ off the hook in round 12 of fight 1 and he certainly did not stop fighting in the last 20 seconds.

Olek was throwing throughout round 12 and only took a natural breather from throwing punches in just the last 3 seconds of the fight.

The telecast countdown timer for the round was also 6 seconds behind/slow.

Ajs recent opponents are basically the same as Furys but he was fighting Usyk while Fury was fighting Wilder and there's that thing of Fury maybe losing to a novice that Joshua knocked back to the octagon....but you'd say Fury was more deserving, even after basically being out on his feet while AJ was never in that type of danger and just clearly lost a chess match.

Joshua fought the best version of Usyk at heavyweight period. Usyk willing to give him a third fight when older, and with Joshua somewhat rebuilt and experienced is daring, though I'd rather see him fight some other style.

He's fighting for money of course. Beating Fury and AJ and becoming the undisputed champion brings legacy along with money as well. But, he fights for money before legacy.

Fight AJ, get paid 50 million dollars and get knocked out. Sounds like a great deal despite the KO.

He got only £5M for fighting Dubois. You want him to fight the likes of Dubois, Kabayel, Parker etc and earn ridiculous small amounts?

He's 37 and he's about to hang the gloves. He will do absolutely the right thing with fighting AJ and Fury again. And that's why he abandoned the IBF belt, so that AJ will win it, and they will fight for a 3rd time. Everybody will be rich (except us).

Chisora is better than AJs last 4 opponents.

And Fury beat Ngannou. By the skin of his teeth sure, but he still won. He was also more competitive against Usyk than AJ was despite round 9 (where the ref made the call to give him a count that he beat).

$5m isn't a "ridiculously small amount" and he got $45m in his last fight against Fury. Grow up.

    I don’t need to.

My description of round 12, fight 1 is perfectly accurate.

With 13 secs left, Usyk landed a big left on Joshua which the commentary called upon connection.

Usyk then followed up with a barrage of punches which saw Joshua wobbled backward with his back first touching the ropes with just 5 seconds left in the final round.

You stated that Usyk stopped fighting in the last 20 seconds of round 12 - your description is completely at odds with the actual vision.

We're both wrong. Just rewatched it and Usyk lands his final punch with 10 seconds to go and doesn't throw anything else with AJ standing in front of him with his hands down.

Usyk let AJ off and could have finished him.

Dude I’m not wrong. If I was wrong I would gladly acknowledge it. I don’t BS.

Suggesting that Usyk stopped fighting in the last 20 seconds was way, way off.

Usyk was throwing right up to near the very end of the round - he swung his last punch (a right hand which AJ ducked) with just 3 seconds left in the round.

A fatigued Usyk was clearly taking a breather from the non stop barrage of punches that he had just thrown.

Note, the YT clip and timer starts exactly upon the ringing of the bell for the final round - and times the round from go to whoa, at exactly 3 minutes.

The broadcast’s timer for the round is off the mark by 6 seconds.

Usyk himself rates Fury way above Joshua. Said so in interviews.

He also picked Joshua to win if they fought in a recent interview, so...
