Sonny liston is overrated.

We've been through this before.Very,very few men could match Joe Frazier for raw courage,it is why Joe Frazier is such a venerated fighter.
Liston had more than enough courage to NOT be called a cowatd.

Why you are again pulling Bethea that is like saying Dempsey punched harder than Liston because he destroyed Willard but Willard did not fight Liston so we can not compare their punching powers, I am comparing common opponents and those are Machen and Patterson who both stated Ingemar hit them the hardest.
Patterson again punched and almost killed Patterson and if we compare that fight and Machen fight, Ingo did slightly better.
