Are people becoming a little hypocritical when it comes to Usyk?

Your false narratives still don’t hold.

Suggesting that one is not being an adult is an obviously intended insult. Hypocrisy much?

An adult would’ve admitted to their obvious errors (relevant to the subject) rather than play ignorant and defect elsewhere, as you did before receding…

…..only to then have your previously un-involved mate childishly jump in on your behalf.

    Embarrassing for you both.

That type of easily identified tag team MO is what is truly infantile.

You did type “yawn”, shamelessly copying your mate exactly - I mean, that truly screams “adult” doesn’t it?

As I said before, keep kidding yourself.

You’re really just being obtuse now. It’s not at all comparable.

One is a legitimate top 3 heavyweight and the other is a middle of the road gatekeeper.

And Usyk had zero trouble with Chisora. Derek was brave and did pretty well for 4 or 5 rounds but Usyk was in first gear and looked like he was using Chisora to get some minutes in. He did only what he had to do, never looked like losing and won as he liked in the end.

It is comparable, they're both opponents that were defeated easily twice. There is no honest justifiable reason why there needs to be a third fight outside of greed.

What has AJ actually done to indicate he is still top 3 since losing to Usyk?

That middle of the road gatekeeper is better than anyone AJ has beaten lately.

Of course I'll reevaluate this if he beats Dubios. I'm not unreasonable.

I would compare it more to Ezzard Charles fighting Jersey Joe Walcott 4 times. Both Usyk and AJ are 2 out of Top 3 heavyweights of this era.

As I've explained multiple times, he needs to let someone have else a turn and show he's still top 3.

I agree, just that fighting AJ for the third time is not like Fury fighting Chisora for the third time, more like Charles fighting Jersey Joe.

I respectfully disagree, but get where you're coming from.

The only guy I'd say is even in the vicinity of the guys in the top 3 is Parker and he was "easily' dispatched by AJ already. You break into the top by beating everyone below. And there's no scenario where fighting a guy for 5mil is better than fighting for more than 20 mil, especially considering the IBF could once again be involved making it a unification bout. You're not making sensible points here.

If you only ever consider money, then sure. But we're boxing fans and we should aspire for more. In what other sport would other athletes or teams be frozen out because their promoters don't have enough money?

It's ironic suggesting Parker is the only one deserving but then dismissing him for losing once 6 years ago. Yet you're being perfectly happy for AJ to have three attempts at Usyk in 3 years. You're not being consistent.

And again, while it MIGHT be a unification for the IBF Usyk has gone on record saying he only wants AJ or Fury, which means if AJ loses his next bout it won't be for the IBF.

You still haven't really addressed how the HW division is supposed to gain any traction when the top three refuse to face anyone else in the top ten.

Its up to federations. Being Usyk undisputed he cant choose his opponents.

I know huh, why consider money in a sport nicknamed prize fighting. What exactly do you think the prize is lol? I stated in my 1st post probably in your other thread about the exact same thing that I wouldn't mind seeing Parker-Usyk out of curiosity, but that I can understand why Usyk himself would rather fight Joshua or Fury again. You're on this board trying to explain why the guy holding the belts doesn't know what's best for him. That's kinda funny tbh.

Usyk should just fight Parker as a warm up before he faces Joshua or fury. Could just do it backstage before his ring walk.

But he won't. He'll go for the easier fight in AJ instead.
