Morrison should be heavily favoured in this one.

Because Tommy is bigger, faster, and a better boxer.

Whoever lands first. If Shavers comes out like he did vs Norton, he cleans Morrison's clock

On the flip side, he was also knocked out in the first round by the likes of Michael Bentt.

Truth be told I could see it going either way, but I have far more faith in Shavers' durability and endurance so I'll tentatively pick him here.

Shavers had some losses to inferior fighters because he was not a terribly good boxer who relied on his power. I like Morrison because he was more consistent and had some good technique. Would I be shocked if Shavers won? No. Tommy had an average chin, well within Shavers' ability to crack open.

Tommy Morrison beat Tommy Morrison on that night in Morrisons Home town who he tried to impress, he just ran stupid straight into Bentt and was done in by the three knock down rule.

He will be more measured while cleaning Shavers clock.

I agree. I don't rank him as high as guys like Cleveland Williams, and Ron Lyle H2H because of those glaring losses. Most particular one, that doesn't look good is his loss to the 20-24 Stallings.
This is fair. Both guys had the power to crack the other's chin.

I know 1977 Earnie Shavers ran a 10:15 seconds in the 100 yard dash during the annual ABC Superstars competition.
To me that's fast, especially as he was likely over his best fighting weight of 210 lbs.

Shavers blasts him out in one or two rounds is what I would expect and bet on.
