Based on his last 6 fights Canelo is light years behind Usyk, Crawford and Inoue. In none of these fights he looked even remotely impressive while fighting inferior or shot opponents post-Bivol. So, he is clearly far behind Usyk, Crawford and Inoue. There also no argument can be made for him to be ranked ahead of Bivol who beat him easily. But who else should be ranked above him P4P? I'd go with Beterbiev and Bam Rodriguez for sure. So Canelo is #7 P4P at best currently
I´d rank Usyk, Crawford, Inoue, Bivol and Beterbiev above him. Bam is on a good run, but hes mainly beaten old, past prime guys. Regardless, anywhere from 5 to 8 would be OK and reasonable in my book.
It'd be hard to argue against Crawford not being number 1, I think Canelo is either 2 or 3, a toss up between Usyk and himself taking the number 2 spot. I think Canelo, considering he's 5 foot 7 and started his career at 147 pounds, is really a 160 pound fighter. Even at 160 pounds he wasn't considered to be a big middleweight. Everything he achieves at 168 and above is an over achievement in my opinion.
Usyk beat far superior opposition in the last 5 fights and did it more impressively being smaller man in each and every of these fights while Canelo beat guys who moved up 1 or 2 class and C-level fighters. Inoue also beat better opponents and did it far more impressively. And how you can rank Canelo over Bivol if Bivol beat him up and Canelo didn't get a single significant win after that loss?
I think it’s a toss up between Canelo and Usyk for number 2 spot. As you said, Usyk has fought the better opposition but I do like what Canelo is doing at 168, he’s looking pretty unbeatable and he was a small 160 pounder. Regarding Usyk’s recent victories, I thought Fury won by one round and I thought Dubois landed a legal body shot on the belt that should have given Dubois the victory, so for me there are a few asterisk’s there on Usyk’s recent wins. His victories over Joshua were excellent. The Bivol loss in my opinion was simply a case of a bridge too far. The loss was more due to Bivol being too big, too tall and too rangy more so than Bivol being a better fighter from a pound for pound sense. Canelo’s punches had virtually no affect due to the size difference, he couldn’t keep Bivol honest and Bivol just walked straight through the punches to outland Canelo. Its like if Mayweather jumped up to fight GGG and lost, you’d still say Mayweather is better from a pound for pound perspective.
Fun fact Canelo is now 1 year younger than GGG when they first fought. Imagine what a 29 year old GGG would do to a 35 year old Canelo
The top 3 are locked in as Usyk, Inoue and Crawford. I feel like 4 and 5 are locked in as Beterbiev and Bivol. But Canelo is definitely top ten, so somewhere from 6-10 with the like of Bam, Loma, Tank, Nakatani, Lopez, Haney (eugh)

Bivol offered to rematch canelo at 168 for all the belts but Canelo declined. How in the world would someone rank him with Usyk who has beaten guys 50lbs heavier than him. Usyk has beaten Berbertiev and all the top names. Don't you think usyk will school canelo better than Mayweather did if they were thesame weight?
