I think Tito should be the favorite without question but man does Lara and his high boxing IQ and movement present a major challenge to Tito. It would not surprise me one bit if Lara outboxed Tito but the safer bet is on Tito's power. I could see Lara deploying strategy very similar to what Oscar did.

It's not like Canelo's power bothered Lara. That's bad news for Tito.

I do because that Don King hype job gets his over-rated ears boxed clean off his head.

Alvarez didn't land many notable head shots. Angulo, however, did drop Lara twice. Regardless, I think Lara's one of the great 154-pounders and his footwork and pinpoint punching sees him take a decision here.

The Angulo fight seemed a little out of character for him. The one question I have is if Lara would run all night and lose a decision, but I don’t really see why he would.

These answers are embarrassing. Holy recency bias. Trinidad smokes Lara. Lara BARELY scraped past getting stopped by friggin Angulo.

Tito was the better fighter but this might be a troublesome match stylistically for him. That and his best weight was welter. Not 154

I also remember him being somewhat fortunate against, what’s his name, Carlos Molina?

Indeed. Picking him over Tito is lunacy. Lara never in his career put forth a performance suggesting he could beat Trinidad.
