Well he was 180 pounds on a 10 fight winning streak Liston had only 7 fights without virtually any amateur experience who would you expect him to fight Rocky Marciano?

 

Maybe but he started as a 170 pounder, Liston was 30 pounds heavier again.
Also losig against guy like a Marshall even in 7th pro fight is weak, for someone who is considered invincible.
Marshall was a bum at best, c level joruneyman who had full time labor job.
Whom he beat good?
He lost against even average contenders, two guys whom Sonny would beat later, even they were able to beat Marshall easy.

He once said and changed his opinion, but you wanna use that to somehow prove that your hero gave him the toughest fight.
You first claimed that Sonny gave him toughest fight not only that Ali said so but that it went that way which is crazy.

Stupidity is calling someone with 35 pro fights green, to say that he is better with one draw and win over two contenders than Lyle who beat at least 10 more better guys.
Stupidity is when you are trying so much to overrate two no chin fighters like Patterson and Williams just because they fought your hero, so hurting their legacy would hurt your hero legacy...that is what is definition of stupidity.
