Billy Polkinghorn's fight tonight against Wilber Carame might only be his 4th pro fight but he had 196 in the amateurs.

So tonight is Billy's 200th fight overall.

 

In relation to Matchroom, I think it’s a case of watch this space. I’m hearing there’s further proceedings in October.

The reason it went to court is simply because the athlete was of the opinion he was a free agent and the promoter disagreed and was prepared to back his position.

 

He looked decent tonight against an unknown opponent he did take a few shots before the KO. I’m not sold on Polkinghorn yet.

 

Good fight so far between Cook and Wells

 

I think Cook got cooked on the cards I thought he should’ve got the decision

 

The Japanese kid talented but mucked around to much late in that fight.

 

And it looked like it cost him..one judge only gave him a round lol.

He was shocked. I don't blame him.

 

Jeff Horn looks like he’s been on a bender

 

Yeah he started well but just didn’t do enough Taylor was pressing the fight

 

I had it 4-2 Taylor but could’ve been 5-1. Decent fight but Taylor pushed the action the whole way, effectively.

 

I didn’t think Joel was all that effective from what I watched but the young Japanese lad didn’t do a lot in the 2nd half of the fight.

Gersback got a slick new haircut.

 

If the Japanese kid had a bit more experience he could’ve won. Yep slick haircut indeed on the Gersback kid.

 

What a wild fight this one is lol

 

I don’t understand why foxtel can’t but on a low level local card like this every 3 weeks it is entertaining
