Of course Machen was telling the gospel truth……4 l-o-n- g years after the fact of the fight and without actually displaying any symptoms of eye discomfort during the fight.

If Eddie said he fought with only one leg would you buy it while ignoring the fact that the vision upheld that he fought on two legs?

It’s okay, you can elect not to answer that question on the grounds that it might incriminate you.

No disrespect whatsoever to the man but Eddie didn’t have the most stable of personalities.

Now that swamp land I’ve mentioned to you before - are you still interested in buying?

I think nobody cared as much at this point, it was water under the bridge and it was just an anegdote, like we said. Nobody thought they will be debates on that topic 50 years later, lol.

No, that was Frank Palermo. Why do you think they called him "Blinky"? *

One of the sayings from my era when woefully hungover was "it tastes like a bear has **** in my mouth".

Takes on a new meaning with biffo fool involved. Maybe a bit of PTSD going on

Does anyone on this forum have a declaimer on every one of their posts saying "Oh yeah I wrote this lolz"? No.

You didn't have quotes, source your content, nor give any indication the work wasn't yours.

You thought you were slick, and tried to pass it off as yours', seemingly hoping nobody would actually notice, and call you on it.

You must've forgotten you're to stupid to write half as coherent as the post you ripped.

Again when I said that I wrote all that?

You use what I quote to make me a liar, because of your lack of arguments, and you claim I stole that perhaps I never said that's my content.

Your best way to discredit all that I found and posted here failed, congratulations.

    Hell yeah.

His mum probably shouldn’t have read him the children’s book The Big Ugly Bear Under My Bed when he was kid.

Biffo Fool. Straight between the posts. I love it.:lol:

It's not the gospel just because it hurts your hero reputation and legacy.

Eddie himself said that he hide eye discomfort so Liston would not think he was blinded.

That's why we can't see that he was blinded unlike Ali, Machen said that himself and explained why he never showed eye discomfort.

Who the f... knows, but it is true that Liston worked for the mob when he was in pro boxing, and mob knew dirty things how to win a boxing fight.

You can’t hide the type of eye discomfort that Machen claimed Lol.

Did it ever occur to you that the reason why you can’t see ANY undue reaction from Machen is because his eyes were not contaminated?

Then you have Machen claiming foul 4 years after the fact of the fight - not so coincidentally on the heels of Ali’s actual and clearly visible eye contamination in Miami.

Join the dots man. Eddie wasn’t blinded but you appear to have been blinded by your on bias causing you to buy Eddie’s BS claim hook, line and sinker without once of critical thinking applied.

Something like this is difficult to argue against because it lacks any common sense. [/QUOTE]
Literally nobody on this forum, not a single person cosigns their post by saying "Yup this is my post, nobody else's" because it goes without saying. Now when people quote something, of course they're going to source it. You didn't. You instead tried to pass it off as your own work, something you've done across a minimum of 3 (undoubetdly more) permabanned accounts.

Who indeed? It's almost like there wasn't actually a "famous mafioso" in Liston's corner at all.

Just in your first post you stated Machen had said Liston’s handlers had rubbed the substance on his shoulders.
    Make your mind up.
