If AJ stops Dubois come Saturday night, it will set up a trilogy with Usyk in the future. Under the careful tutelage of Uncle Ben, could AJ beat Usyk? It will certainly be a different AJ to the first 2 bouts, and Usyk will be a lot older.

Depends on if he's finally past whatever mental block he was in these last few years. The old AJ could beat Usyk but we'd have to see if he can get that aggression back. That cautious period made him a completely different fighter.

Short of waiting until Usyk is 42? No. Usyk knows how do deal with AJ.

I don't see it. You could tell his team never wanted that fight even un the pressers it was like Hearn was reading AJs obituary. Usyk is all wrong for Joshua

He had 24 rounds and a heavily stacked deck in his favour and he FAILED twice and, corrupt judge's cards aside, neither fight was close.

If he was afforded a completely undeserved third attempt at trying to beat Usyk, contrary to the narrative his dumb fans believe and are pushing and will obviously attrbute it to, it would be because Usyk will be a least 38 y/o by that time and has slowed down a lot and become easier to hit which is plain to see, not because the ''old AJ is back'' or this is the Boxercise Ben trained ''new AJ.'' These clowns can't make up their minds just like they can't get over the fact Usyk beat their boy not once but twice and they can't give Usyk the credit for doing so either.

AJ just got the tactics wrong TWICE and it had little to do with what Usyk did and allowed AJ to do

Had AJ beaten Usyk in their first fight that would've been it: AJ is the better man, Usyk lost to the better man, on with the next for AJ

Had AJ beaten Usyk twice: Rivalry over, AJ is the far superior man, Usyk could never beat AJ

And everyone knows this too but they just cannot give Usyk his credit or accept the fact that he beat AJ and proved he was the better man. That really grates on them

AJ gets to roll the dice as many times as he likes and needs until he achieves the desired result, his beaten opponents only ever get one roll.

If AJ wins against Dubois and Usyk wins the Fury rematch, then the earliest that fight could happen would be after Usyk turns 38.

Tough to say how much wear and tear will begin catching up with Usyk by then, but assuming it's nothing drastic, then it's very difficult to envision AJ beating Usyk.

Let's see if AJ can beat Dubois first before getting too far ahead of ourselves.

Age is the only thing that would ever allow AJ to beat Usyk.

I think AJ has a good chance on the ninth try. He gets beat up and humiliated until then, though. It seems cruel to throw him back in there at this point.

The smart money would be on Usyk making it 3-0.

I believe AJ can perform better than the previous 2 fights but I believe Usyk has another level to perform even better. If you pay attention to Usyks career the main guys he beat on his road to undisputed in both divisions were all tough fights where he displayed a second level that the opponent doesn’t have.

Yes, on the cards he can. Boxing often isn't about who really wins. He's already shown he can get the victory on a judge's card, all he needs is two. I don't know why people are so confident he can't do that just because Usyk is superior. It's not a real sport.

Also, Usyk has an uphill battle to win every time and eventually it can go wrong. He can have an off night or get an injury etc.
And if you keep giving people a shot to beat you, you can lose. It's the same in any sport. The best players sometimes lose to lesser ones on the night.

This almost happened to Fury in the third Wilder fight. People were so confident Fury would wipe him out. It was obviously a super risky fight and he almost got KO'd because it was the third chance he'd given Wilder to beat him.
