Not in the last 10 years but I used to tell everyone that Duran was going to destroy Hearns and then Hearns would destroy Hagler and Mugabi would destroy Hagler as well!

    Best
    Fury over Klitschko

    Worst
Johnathon Banks over Antonio Tarver. For some reason I was so sure that Banks would win that I even convinced my friend, who didn't follow boxing at all, to bet on him.

The most recent worst one was AJ- Ngannou.

I predicted and envisioned Ngannou giving AJ all kinds of problems. When I get it wrong, I really do.

Best: Andy Ruiz by round 7 KO/TKO against AJ (got short paid that week though so never put money on it. Biggest regret of my life).

Worst: Parker by UD against Joyce.

EDIT: I picked round 7 for Ruiz at the time because it's my favorite number. My jaw dropped when it actually happened.

I cant really think of my best picks. My wins never really stick out to me.

My worst pick in the history of the sport by far though has been Canelo vs Kovalev. I really cant overstate how badly I picked this.

To preface this, I had been spot on on almost every Canelo fight up to that point, (and the ones after), and so I feel I had Canelo fairly well gauged.

For this fight, I watched Kova vs Yarde, the most recent Kova fight at the time. Yes, Kova was diminished, but even what I was seeing in that fight, I just didnt see Canelo handling well. In fact, I remember questioning if Canelo could even beat Yarde convincingly.

Kova was so long, and controlled distance so well, I didnt think Canelo would be able to close that distance on him with much success. I felt Kova would be able to keep him at the end of his punches through most of the fight, and I thought his power would keep Canelo fairly caged in there even if he did want to press on the gas more.

I was in shock when Canelo was able to walk Kova down and get a highlight reel KO on him.

Given the 'studying' I did prefight, given my familiarity with the fighters, and given how sure I was in the outcome, this is by far and away my worst pick ever.

Second place would probably be AJ vs Ruiz 2.

Given the nature of their first encounter, AJ had massive pressure on him in the rematch. It can not be easy facing a guy who throttled you in your last fight, and didnt win just from a fluke punch, but repeatedly bounced you off the canvas in multiple rounds before stopping you.

So it was a twofold pick, I thought Ruiz was a bit of a bad matchup for AJ (thought so before the first fight actually) and I felt it would be hard for AJ to not get caught again when throwing combinations, against the faster Ruiz, coupled with implosion level of pressure on him, facing the guy that took his 0 in such an 'embarrassing' manner months earlier and with the world watching this rematch.

I did have my doubts about AJs mental toughness at the time, and kinda felt the pressure would be too much along with the opponent somewhat having his number.

AJ proved me wrong by showing how much of a professional he is, coming in super sleek and boxing a very intelligent and disciplined fight for majority of the match.

I was very happy to be wrong for that.

I gotta go back further to find an unequivocally misguided call. Been wrong plenty since, but not this bad (I think). I was on a pony calling DLH a bully for being so much bigger than Pac while simultaneously possessing a competitive skillset. Same with the Cotto fight. Just didn't seem fair. That was pretty far off. Wasn't it?

My memory sucks ass, but me predicting Dubois to whoop Hrgovic stands out.
One of the worst ones recently is Joyce vs Zhang II. I genuinely thought that Joyce would adjust and take the W. Well, he did make adjustments but got destroyed even worse.

But nothing beats my track record with Austin Trout.
Trout vs Rodriguez - Picked Rodriguez.
Trout vs Cotto - Picked Cotto
Trout vs Alvarez - Picked Trout
Trout vs Lara - Picked Trout
*Then he had fights against lower opposition, all of which he won and I picked him in. But those were easy picks.
Trout vs Jermall - Picked Trout
Trout vs Hurd - Picked Trout
Trout vs Jermell - Picked Trout
Trout vs Gausha - Picked Trout... A ****ing draw.

**** you Austin Trout! Arguably beat Alvarez, both Charlo´s and Gausha. Should have gone down as a great boxer but will likely be forgotten. What a shame.
Thankfully he has found success in bareknuckle and is making some good money to close out his fighting career.

Best recent predictions are ones I've won money on. Parker to beat Wilder, Dubious to beat Miller and Hrgovic. I think I stated on here if Ngannou comes to fight then AJ will go through him like a dodgy kebab after 10 pints I had money on AJ to smash him inside 2 rounds. Bivol to boss Canelo. Historically Eubank v Benn 2 for the draw at nice odds. My worst predictions, blimey there's undoubtedly a lot that I selectively choose to forget but just one is AJ to put Ruiz into orbit inside 3 rounds in the 1st fight

Best: Valdez over Berchelt, Hurd vs Lara, Algieri over Provodnikov.

Worst: Custio Clayton over Jeron Ennis (admittedly some hometown bias there).
