Turki Alalshikh plans to significantly lower cost of PPVs

Hearn would love to be able to destroy all trace of many things he's said along the line and his call on PPVs would be close to the top of the list.

 

Course they're on peds just like most of their competition. Both are still quality fighters and Canelo's last fight vs Munguia was tough. Mayweather's been retired for years, did he cherry pick and avoid a few definitely but he still had a great resume.

 

This is the mentality Turki should have;

This is excellent. The era of high pay-per-view prices is done. Personally I think with streaming anyway long term pay-per-views will go away. It's simply not sustainable. I'm not saying its good I'm just talking about what's going on in the market

 

I seem to remember a country, I believe it may have been Switzerland,not sure. Their railway system was going bankrupt. A guy offered to make them a paying system again in two years They took his offer. He immediately slashed all fare's by 50 %. There was uproar claiming he was crazy.. BUT at the end of the 2 years the railways were solvent again & have been so ever since. Railway travel was very affordable again & trains were full

 

Turki should just legalize PEDs.

 

Gullible boxing fans paying exorbitant prices for BS & fixed fights were the cause. Being in the business help me by not having to pay the prices for any PPV's or & ringside seat since Lewis / Holyfield 1 I didn't even buy that one I watched , er half watched it, at Baby Doll's topless bar in Texas They screwed Lennox by giving Holy a draw he didn't deserve even the gorgeous dancer Angel agreed with me She looked like an angel too

 

Going full on Pride? That would be quite something. Usyk would be 250lbs of Ukrainian steel while throwing 800 punches per fight.

Ppv is awful for the sport with so many and so high

 

That is the only way I'll buy a ppv again is if it is reasonable.

 

For the $20 ppv for Joshua-Dubois for us long too long abused by PPV prices Americans.

If it was above $50, I was out...
