Dubois landed that short right hand. Very short but powerful. AJ left himself too open.

This goes on to show how much defense matters. Usyk has outstanding defense which is why he is rarely caught with shots like that.

I didn't see anyone predict that he lands an impossible haymaker in round 1 where AJ never gets his legs back.

No it was a hard shot. Like Foreman- Moorer. Traveled only about a foot but it was hard and right in the chin.

Great exciting fight. Exactly how I thought it would go other than who actually chins who.

WOW just WOW what a crazy fight.

AJ looked really nervous before the start of the fight, just staring into space, while Dubois looked focused and when the bell rung AJ came out timidly which was dumb against a fighter who's most effective when he's coming forward. I don't think he ever recovered from the first knockdown he was pulling back with his hands down again and again and getting punished for it each time.

Credit to Dubois, he's improving with every fight. He's never been a counter puncher but suddenly he learned to counter and by doing so, he's become a far more dangerous fighter.

 

AJ isn't that good of a fighter. Never has been.

 

It was pretty much the same, hurt by a shot he never saw coming and didn´t recover after that.
