Not at all. Was a unified champion who beat more contenders than both his contemporaries in Fury and Wilder. Whether he's shot or Dubois was just a bad style match up for him (I think it's the latter) losing doesn't undo what he did previously.

100%. His guard was non existent. Was so frustrating to watch. But fair play to Dubois I didn't think he had it in him. Joshua never recovered after that first knockdown in round 1, his legs were completely gone.

 

Takam, Wallin and Pulev were all decent fighters, there's Klitschko aswell, Whyte, Povetkin who was coming off of a great KO and had only ever lost in a clinch fest against Wlad and would go on to Knock Whyte out cold, and yes Parker and Ruiz. Parker was a champion and so what if he "didn't throw a punch", thats on him for getting his tactics wrong and not being able to effectively get around Joshua's jab. This nitpicking can be done to anyones resume. It's not the craziest resume ever but compare it to the likes of Fury and Wilder.

 

What made the fence sitters think AJ was in his prime right now and rejuvenated? For going 12 with Franklin and beating Wallin?
He walked out with that fanfare and got beat like a ginger stepchild for 15mins

 

I did say in the build up to this fight, we've heard it all before.

"It's a new AJ"
"He's back to his old self and better than ever"
"He's the number 1 in the division now"

They said it before Usyk 1, Usyk 2 and this one. Same old story. Good boxer, NOT elite.

 

AJ isn’t in the same league as Fury. Tyson Fury will be in the hall of fame. The only way AJ gets in there is if he pays it a visit.
