Usyk, who is older than Joshua, beat Joshua first three years ago. That Joshua was a fresher, younger, less shop worn version than the one from tonight. I never understood this logic that a win becomes be less impressive because of the result of another fight that’s taking place years later. By this logic, everyone is only as good as their last showing. Tonight’s result hardly changes anything. Joshua was caught by a hungry, big puncher that’s what, some seven or eight years younger than him. It’s HW boxing, it happens.

I agree with you for the most part. I think Usyk could have been a good HW in any era. But I don't see him being the man in most eras. But as for Wlad, I'm not so sure about that one. Wlad usually fought guys with not a lot of skill. But I guess Wlad could Povetkin the hell out of Usyk.
