That's coming across a bit as sour grapes, Perkin.

C'mon, mate. Keep it decent. ;)

AJ lost fair and square tonight.

Dubois labeled as the quitter is winning second fight in a row by having that dog in him. (against unmotivated Hrgovic who looked like he was sleeping under the bridge and rummaging through trash bins in preparation for the fight, and Joshua who managed to in my opinion freeze and lose based on character and will here.)

Apologies for quoting the Bible in context of combat sport, but there is a passage that I like to read whenever I feel whiny, or entitled, or begrudged.

'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.'

As I like to read it: there are rules in this world, fool. That is not to say one-punch stoppages do not happen in the heavyweight division, or that Dubois wasn't able to secure victory based on attributes other than character and determination, but I really feel like Joshua had the tools, but did not have the composure and professionalism to use them, and after a lifetime of boxing it's an unforgivable sin.

How many times in the history of the division was the fighter allowed to literally crawl to his stool?

He also let Joshua hold for an entire round and the only guy who got a warning was Dubois for a low blow.

Question did anyone else think Joshua looked unsure of himself during ringwalks ? To me it had the same aura of the way Joshua looked vs Ruiz the 1st time.

I will admit I did pick Joshua prior to the fight but when I see that I was alot less confident about my pick. To me Joshua didn't look confident at all and he looked like he was getting ready for the guillotine.

I just rewatched the first round. The punch that puts AJ on the canvas is a right cross, with no previous set up, no combination, no faint, no anything. Just AJ stood within range with his guard down and ate the punch, that's all.

    Wtf!!!

PS: I wrote many lines about how idiot AJ is, but I removed them because I think I was too explicit. I will only say "this guy is idiot". Let's say only that.

It strange to think that Daniel Dubois is now the fourth most accomplished British heavyweight of the last hundred years behind Lewis, Fury, and Joshua. Bruno. Bugner, and Haye just got left in the dust.

That is a concerning level of copium. What ifs don't win fights, punches do.

Did anyone notice how they started blaring the chorus of this out a few seconds after the ref waved it off? AJ had just been assisted up off the canvas by Boxercise Ben and he was all over the place

If you like numbers and trinkets, go for it. But Dubois is the only one who actually won a big fight against a talented opponent.

Btw McCall and Valuev weren’t lineal.
