Wilder has said he still wants to fight on. His nuclear right hand, his best weapon, has been MIA for a couple fights now. Both are mentally broken, but AJ still has weapons (had a good jab today) while Wilder is shooting blanks now.

    AJ by TKO.

It is nothing more than damaged goods vs damaged goods now but it actually makes a lot of sense. Not as much as both retiring though.

Hope not. I’d rather not see fighters still getting the huge Saudi money when they are way past their best and to be honest pretty undeserving of it.

Wilder is beyond shot, but I think he lands the missile early

Aj will be having serious panic attacks about facing another puncher so soon after this

Both bums, but I would watch

It's just kind of sad now to be fair.

Funny how quickly it goes from RED HOT to ice cold.

Dubois just punched the last of Joshua's fragile self belief out of him and although he should beat what's left of Wilder easily, it might not pan out that way.

Wilder can’t punch anymore. He’s done

Joshua still could beat Dubois, altho at this point he’s more likely to get stopped again. He needs to look for the exit ramp

After getting a beating like that, I think Ajs team are smart enough to weigh up the risk versus reward.
It will sell but it could go really bad, I was one of the few that was impressed with Joshua’s jaw against Dubois, he took some flush shots that would have dropped a bull.
But Joshua has always had a tight guard and against Dubois it was loose.
There might be a way back for Joshua but it won’t be via wilder and it won’t be back to the top. I think he will take the rematch get beat and then retire, as great a performance by Dubois Joshua left his chin on display, without taking anything away from Dubois most heavyweights would have welcomed that gift.
I honestly don’t know what he was thinking.
But what I see happening is turki pushing the new blood and putting them on the same cards to build up the division again.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Dubois, Bakole Ajit and Itauma on the same card soon.
Boxing promotion has little room for sentiment and the top fighters are on the decline, with Turki having the keys to the kingdom literally this is the direction that makes sense once fury and usyk have rematched

I'm not sure what's next for AJ but this fight has been in the works for quite some time now. Wonder if it finally makes sense. In any event, Wilder, is not the fighter he once was but he does have the ability to land something big early and AJ doesn't have the ability to recover as seen with the Ruiz fight and now today. An intriguing match up that I feel could land as a co-main to a monster Riyadh Season card.

I've got to agree. Wilder only has to land once

The laughable thing here is that Team AJ just went on a long run of avoiding Fury and Wilder, plus Joyce(pre KO), Zhang, to get a comfortable title shot against an unproven. And still lost. So all that ducking of big money fights was for nothing. The safety approach actually backfired and it's absolutely hilarious.

Wilder was always considered too dangerous to fight and people should finally accept this. It's not that Wilder was so good, it's that Team AJ was scared to fight him because they knew there was a good chance of getting KO'd regardless, especially after slickster Fury couldn't avoid the RH either.

It wouldn't surprise me if they still ducked Wilder now and actually made a fight with Haye instead.
