If Hunter is 10th, then Suslenkov should be in the top 9.

I don't necessarily disagree in principle, but that is being considered as an exhibition, at least for the moment.

    Usyk
    Dubois

After the top 2 I think it can be very debatable
I could see a debate with switching around any order of the next 3

    Parker
    Fury
    Joshua

    Kabayel
    Zhang
    Bakole
    Hrgovic

I could make a case for several to be in at 10 but...

    Chisora

    Edit
Not that ratings are done this way on the last 3 fights but if the last 3 fights were a way I wonder how it would go...

    Usyk - Fury, Dubois, Joshua

    Dubois - Joshua, Hrgovic, Miller

    Parker - Zhang, Wilder, Kean

Fury - (loss) Usyk, Ngannou, Chisora

Joshua - (loss) Dubois, Ngannou, Wallin

    Kabayel - Sanchez, Makmudov, Smakici

Zhang - Wilder, (loss) Parker, Joyce

I think you could make an argument for Kabayel at 3 if done that way

Those top 3 choose themselves. After that it gets more difficult.

I don't care about BoxRec's dumb politics. I watched the match, it was absolutely regular and Suslenkov won clearly.

    1. Usyk - Undisputed even if he doesn't hold a belt
    2. Dubois - back to back stoppage wins over top contenders, holds a title
    3. Fury - Beat Whyte and Chisora in 2022 but hasn't done much since. Will drop down heavily if he loses to Usyk again
    4. Parker - back to back wins over top contenders
    5. Zhang - took Joyce out twice last year and annihilated Wilder this year
    6. Joshua - beat decent names in Franklin and Wallin last year, and has beaten Parker already, but got swept by Dubois.
    7. Bakole - solid wins over Kuzmin, Takam, Yoka and Anderson
    8. Kabayel - back to back impressive wins over a then top 10 guy in Sanchez and over a top prospect in Makhmudov
    9. Hrgovic - hasn't done much in recent years but has a win over Zhang.
    10. Chisora/ Ajagba - Chisora has an upset over Joyce and an ok win over Gerald Washington last year, and Ajagba has strung together some good wins with his most recent being over Vianello who just upset Makhmudov.

    1) Usyk - wins over Fury, Dubois and Joshua. Undefeated.
    2) Fury - lost a close decision to Usyk, recent champion, wins over highly rated Whyte & Wilder in last 3 years.
    3) Dubois - beat Joshua and Hrgovic. Loss to Joyce still memorable, and also clearly lost against Usyk, which combined are enough to keep him behind Fury for now.
    4) Parker - beat Zhang and Wilder. Loss to Joyce still recent enough to be relevant, and lost to Joshua and Whyte without avenging.
    5) Joshua - lost decisively to Dubois and lost a close decision to Usyk. Recent champion, good resume but only recent rated win is Wallin.
    6) Kabayel - beat Makhmudov and Sanchez. Undefeated but still unproven against real top opposition. Makhmudov win looks less impressive now given his recent loss.
    7) Hrgovic - beat Zhang, lost to Dubois. Loss to Dubois looks better following his win over Joshua.
    8) Zhang - beat Wilder and Joyce. Close loss to Hrgovic and loss to Parker shows his level is somewhere below the top guys.
    9) Bakole - Beat Anderson, otherwise unproven and loss to Hunter unavenged.
    10) Chisora - Beat Pulev and Joyce. Losses to Fury, Usyk and Parker all look fine now.

Could argue Whyte for #10, but drug tests enough to devalue his rating and Chisora is more active since they fought nearly 6 years ago.

Hunter’s inactivity and low level of opposition since Bakole and Povetkin keeps him out for now, but a decent win could return him to the top 10.

Ruiz did himself no favours drawing with Miller, especially as the consensus is that Miller deserved the win. Neither good enough recently to be top 10.

Looking at these lists, nearly all of which are well considered and reasonable, and I honestly think Moses Itauma is ready to challenge the people around 10-12 in the World.

How do you see Joshua vs Itauma going?
