Collins said that in all likelihood Liston only dipped his gloves in the first Williams fight and Folley fights.

Collins provided absolutely no evidence for HIS (= Collins’) claim.

Folley fought Liston in 1960. He didn’t die a few laters. He died in 1972.

You’re talking out of your derrière claiming that Folley made the claim right after the fight - otherwise provide the primary source and date for Folley making that claim.

There is not a video of Folley fight so how you could claim Folley didn't react the same way?
Now your mew strategy is to call Folley liar just because he was blinded too?

Folley in Boxing Babilon claimed he was blinded right after the fight.

 

So what's the evidence you need to be satisfied?
Even if he had evidence you somehow claim he's lying or that his opinion is not valid just becuase it hurts Liston legacy.

So why wasn't there any evidence of Folley showing he was blinded during the fight ?
If Folley had shown the same reaction as Muhammad Ali,or indeed of any person who had
an astringent substance put into their eyes, observers would have reported this.
Why is there absolutely no reference to, or no mention of Folley's eyes being contaminated ?

 

How you know if you didn't watch the fight that Folley didn't reacted plus he was stopped fast, he didn't have a time to even react because he was punched and knocked out.

Not only Folley but Nigel said also Williams was blinded too.
